Try not to overfill with too many heavy things and the lids as well as the bin will last longer. It is sturdy enough and the latches work well enough that if you handle them carefully they will last for a while. They are all uniform in size so they fit just great when you're trying to organize a room. When it comes to transporting just be careful about not putting too heavy of objects up on them as it will stress the structure of the plastic and could cause them to crack. When you are using a moving truck, make sure that you protect the plastic by putting a moving quilt around the stack of bins so that you you don't get heavy items Jocelyn around and possibly cracking the bins. Just be careful with these and they will last a long time. The clear bin is so useful because you can always tell what is in it.
