worked as advertised. needs to be installed in an enclosure to protect the wiring connection. but I knew that before buying. Quality was okay. I needed a nail or small screw driver to remove the barrier to install wire. Would purchase again.

Not what I expected but they will still work. They seem to work on AC and DC . Very nice.

I'm using these lights on a 12 Volt DC project. They are nice lights with the usual panel mount ring nut. There is no polarity marking because they can be used with 12 to 24 volts, apparently either AC or DC. The contacts are marked X1 and X2, and it's my understanding that X1 is the positive terminal in a DC installation. Hopefully someone will let me know if that's incorrect. With 12 volts DC they give off a nice glow, but they are not an excessively bright light that you would notice in a well lit environment without some other kind of indication. In my project there will also be a 105 db sounder so I will be able to tell what circuit is triggered. It would be nice if the light would be a bit brighter, but in reading other reviews, some users are saying they are using these in 120 Volt AC circuits. I don't know if that's true, or if it's one of those cases where the review is attached to the incorrect product. A good sized light, about the size of a quarter, for those of you not big into metric measurements. It will definitely work for my project but I would not describe the light a "really bright" at 12 volts DC.

These indicator lamps are of good quality, matching the competitive price remembering that these two references very rarely go together. (In this world you usually get poorer quality for a cheeper price). They arrived well packaged and in perfect condition, and immediately they looked and felt up to the job! Although I have not used them yet, I have quickly tested them, and I am confident they will look great and being LED will provide a good life-time use. Easy installation and connection, their size and good looks and the brightness of the indicators are quite adequate.
