Stargazer Blue Black Semi Permanent Hair Dye

Love this. Don't listen to the Not for Grey hair. I'm in the process of going silver gray from a gingerish mid brown. I've been looking for a dye that gives me bright colour on the gray and dark on the brown. This does that. The blue on gray comes out bright sapphire that glints and twinkles all through the rest. It'll need doing once a month to stay bright but hey, I now love my bright blue and slate black hair. 😁

Beware - it is not a dark blue as advertised. It looks royal blue when it goes on and stains bright blue after rinsing. Maybe on brown hair it would come out darker, but I ended up with tropical parrot blue over my blonde. Not impressed. Like all the Stargazer colours, it doesn't last long - maybe 10 days-2 weeks (3 to 4 washes for me) before it looks faded. I covered it with the Schwartzkopf dark blue/black and got the colour I actually wanted.

Only takes 40 minutes to do, Looks amazing DEFINITELY would buy again (Tip: get a very dark colour because it can get very light if you get a light colour, it might not sow up.)

So i have grey hair that I usually use Bigan’s oriental black, or any permanent blue black on. I want to transition gently into full grey hair so i bought the blue black in this brand. Well, it has turned the grey a fairly bright blue 😂😂. I left it on my hair for 2hrs, so I know that isn’t the issue. It does not state that it covers grey, but I have never had an issue with a blue black semi or other resulting in blue hair. I’ll be wearing a hat for the next couple of days until I receive more hair dye. Grey gals take note!

The product itself was great and very easy to use, but when it was delivered and I got it out the Amazon packaging (which was perfect and not damaged) then the packaging of the product was very beaten up looking and bent, also the sticker wasn't stuck down and it looked like it had been opened. Great product, terrible presentation. I actually went to speak to Amazon's customer service about it but as the product itself inside the packaging wasn't damaged there was nothing to be done without returning it which I didn't want to do as I needed to use it that day. Despite that, I did repurchase the product literally a few hours ago because it's much better than the other hair dye I used today so I still recommend.

Looks nice color but I don’t know how to use this

Whilst the dye it itself is a lovely colour, I've had it in for just over a week and washed it 4 times since then, however the colour seems to transfer a lot, everyday I have to scrub my forehead, the back of my neck and even arms and hands as the colour keeps transferring, it's also transferring onto clothes, towels, pillows etc. I've never had this issue before with any other hair dye, or even with other colours from the same brand.

I have already had my hair pre bleached at the front of my fringe for colour, so I expected excellent coverage because having its pre bleached which enables the hair follicles to open up to accept colour, where as non pre bleached hair is much more difficult for semi permanent hair dyes to do this job. I was expecting a really dark blue/black colour, but instead I got a mid blue colour. The colour is nice, but it's not the look that I was going for. I don't think this dye would colour non bleached hair if it's struggling with pre bleached hair!!! I won't be buying this dye again.

Facile à appliquer, il reste vraiment 4/5 shampooings. Idéal pour se faire plaisir ou pour faire un test avant de passer à une teinture définitive. La couleur bleue a un excellent rendu lumineux. Je recommande.
