The Penndel Sharp Kerry Mechanical Pencil is handcrafted with watchmaker's tools for precision, beauty and accuracy. It is the only mechanical pencil to include a cap for the ultimate in pocket and purse protection. The cap provides proper balance while writing and protects the tip when not in use. The Sharp Kerry is elegantly sized to fit comfortably in pockets and purses. All models are pre-loaded with Penndel Super Hi-Polymer HB lead which never needs sharpening, is super strong and produces a clear dark line. Available in 0.5mm and 0.7mm lead sizes and backed by Penndel's industry-leading Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Review: LOVE this pencil - i’m a mechanical pencil "enthusiast' lol. i buy practically every one i come across looking for a few things. 1) portability i.e., being able to keep it in my pocket and not have it either stab me in the thigh, or break in half. 2) comfort/ergonomics. weight and balance is important. when you write as much as i do hand fatigue becomes an actual issue. 3) build quality. i want to know that this thing, which to be fair is rather expensive for 1 pencil, is going to be able to be fixed should the collet get jammed. well, it checks all of those boxes! the portability issue is solved by the clever design. and bonus, when it's in writing mode the eraser actually gets pushed up, unlike a lot of other pencils where the eraser is constantly getting pushed down into the sleeve. it's SUPER comfortable in hand and out of all of my pencils it's by far the most ergonomic. the build quality is great and only once has the collet jammed on me, which was easy to remedy. i just carefully took it apart completely, cleaned everything, and boom.. back in business. also pro tip: keep the cap on the pocket clip when you're using it and you *probably* won't lose it. that said, other reviewers have said the pencil doesn't work without the cap, which is completely false, it just looks nicer in your pocket with it on edit: almost a year later and still going strong.. i actually purchased another one just in case

Really like this pencils Feels good in the hand. Looks great. Mechanism works reliably. The cap snaps over the writing end to protect the lead and your purse. The only thing I don't like is the pocket clip (which I don't use) but makes you have to hold the pencil with it rotated out of the way so it doesn't dig into your hand.
