There are two points worthy of consideration when planning to purchase this (more shortcomings of the design of the stand connection by Samsung, than of this product itself). The design does bring the monitor forward slightly, meaning that it is not possible to push the screen as far back towards a wall as some others. My second point is connected to my first. If the monitor is relatively heavy (mine is, as stated above, a 28" Samsung, and it's worked out ok, but only just), as it pushes the monitor forward slightly, the monitor arm needs to be strong to make sure that the weight of the screen doesn't cause it to sag / droop.
