Lechuza has stood for innovation, design and a renowned irrigation system for 25 years. Thanks to the easy handling, the plant supply can be achieved even without green thumbs. Discover our high-quality planters as well as our substrates, fertiliser and care for the full plant splendour Thanks to the intelligent irrigation system, your plants can optimally take care of themselves - according to the model of nature. Our planters are shatterproof, UV and frost resistant, recyclable and processed with high-quality plastic. Fading, cracks or breaks are a thing of the past! We produce sustainably in our environmentally certified production plant in Bavaria. All black plant inserts are made from recycled plastic. The vessels can be completely recycled. After the watering phase, the plant supplies itself via the water reservoir. This can be filled regularly using the filling chute. Via the wick of the watering stick, which is inserted into the root area, the water enters the grow pot by means of capillary action and provides the roots evenly with moisture. Here, too, water and nutrients reach the root area of the plant via an absorbent thread thanks to capillary action and ensure a balanced supply. The entire range extends from universal plant substrates to special substrates for very special requirements. Unlike ordinary potting soil, the substrates are peat-free, have high root aeration and retain water and nutrients. Our long-term and liquid fertilisers provide your plants with sufficient nutrients. For those who want to do something good for their plants. ## Features - Self-watering system puts the plant in control for best results - Visual indicator takes the guesswork out of watering - Lightweight, recyclable & shatterproof high-quality plastic - Removable plant liner makes planting clean & easy - Perfect for orchids, indoor plants, foliage and herbs ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B005493R3O | | Best Sellers Rank | 377,440 in Home & Kitchen (See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen) 1,552 in Vases | | Brand Name | Lechuza | | Capacity | 6 inches | | Colour | White High-gloss | | Country Of Origin | Germany | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (647) 4.6 out of 5 stars | | Finish Type | Glossy | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04008789180506, 14008789180503 | | Has Drainage | No | | Included Components | Planter, irrigation system, plant substrate Lechuza-Pon, removable plant insert with water level indicator | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions | 14 x 14 x 26 centimetres | | Item Dimensions D X W X H | 14D x 14W x 26H centimetres | | Item Shape | Square | | Item Type Name | Planter | | Item Weight | 1.6 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | geobra Brandstätter Stiftung & Co. Even better, they are made in Europe (Germany) so are not transported half way across the world or made in sweat-shop factories: this is a German company affiliated with Playmobil & that quality is there in these pots. The pot comes with substrate, which replaces potting compost & looks like kitty litter: however it does work & my 2 plants in these Cubico 14 pots (money tree & aloe vera) are very happy & don't have to suffer when I forget to water! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice bit of kit *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 February 2023* These are sturdy and look cooler than a standard pot inside a ceramic holder ,yeah they cost a few quid but so what ,it’s all about the plants and keeping them watered to the perfect level ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good purchase *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 August 2020* I bought two of these, both are quite expensive but overall found the look very modern and so easy because of it’s own reservoir ## Frequently Bought Together - Lechuza 18050 Maxi Cubi Self-Watering Planter for Indoor and Outdoor Use, 6" x 6" x 10", White - Lechuza Cubi Premium 9 Planter with Water Level Indicator, Mini, White High-Gloss - Lechuza 14900 Deltini Self-Watering Planter for Indoor and Outdoor Use, 6" x 6" x 7", White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/50323650-maxi-cubi-self-watering-planter-small-plastic-indoor-plant-pot](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/50323650-maxi-cubi-self-watering-planter-small-plastic-indoor-plant-pot) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
