My vet had advised at my dog’s annual checkup that he needed a scale and polish under general anaesthetic, but he’s only three and I don’t like them having anaesthetics unless it’s absolutely necessary. The alternative was going to be trying a toothbrush, although I didn’t know how he’d take to it as I’ve never used one with him before so when I saw this I thought it was worth a punt, but in all honesty was fully expecting to have to revert to plan A and buy a toothbrush later. Not a bit of it; three weeks in and his teeth are already much cleaner than before, and getting better every day. The best part is there’s no stress or upset for either of us; just sprinkle a bit on his food using the included measuring spoon and that’s it! It doesn’t smell at all and it hasn’t made any difference to him eating his food; I don’t think he’s even noticed, tbh. Price point is great too; I bought the 200g tub and you get a lot while using not very much according to the advised dosage; I reckon it will last about two months, so all round well worth the money - and for me it’s already paying back in spades as I don’t have an expensive vet bill, either! If you’re sceptical on trying this, please believe me and try it, your dog (and your purse!) really will thank you - and yes, I am a genuine customer and haven’t been paid for this review, I just like to give credit where it’s due and maybe save some other little doggies the stress of unnecessary anaesthetics! Review: Amazing product - I have a sweet little old Yorkshire terrier , which had a very bad breath but now he’s have such nice normal breath, really recommend and definitely will purchase again. ## Features - Say goodbye to dog plaque & tartar – 100% pure seaweed powder for dogs is an all-natural supplement to fight bacteria-ladened plaque & tartar build up in pets (no need for dog toothbrush or dog breath freshener spray) - 100% natural & cruelty free – committed to provisioning all-natural sustainable ingredients which are safe for your pet, our dog plaque remover is free of artificial colours, dyes, chemicals, synthetic ingredients - Freshens your dogs bad breath – rich in vitamins & minerals which act together to soften plaque on dogs teeth (works well with dog toothpaste & dog dental sticks & other dog teeth cleaning products) - Infused anti tartar blend - our natural irish seaweed can assist with teeth, gas & digestion. plaque off dogs teeth support your pets oral hygiene - Quick, simple, easy to use & mess free – sprinkle onto your dog’s food or natural dog treats, the mess free & easy to use scoop keeps things simple (no fuss or mess from dog toothpaste and brush) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BRQSJD67 | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Age range (description) | Adult | | Benefits | Effectively removes plaque and tartar while freshening breath | | Best Sellers Rank | 146 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) 2 in Dog Oral Care Supplies | | Brand | BUGALUGS | | Brand Name | BUGALUGS | | Capacity | 70 g | | Country Of Origin | United Kingdom | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 2,968 Reviews | | Flavour | Unflavoured | | Item Dimensions | 10.2 x 5.3 x 5.3 centimetres | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Weight | 0.27 Kilograms | | Item form | Powder | | Manufacturer | BUGALUGS | | Manufacturer Part Number | BLSSWPD70 | | Material Features | Natural, Plant Based | | Material Type Free | Chemical Free | | Material feature | Natural, Plant Based | | Model Number | BLSSWPD70 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Package Type Name | Container | | Packaging Feature | Wrap | | Recommended Uses For Product | Cleaning, Plaque, Tartar Control, Fresh Breath | | Target Audience | Dogs and Cats | | Unit Count | 70.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Brand:** BUGALUGS - **Flavour:** Unflavoured - **Item form:** Powder - **Item package quantity:** 1 - **Item weight:** 0.27 Kilograms - **Material Type Free:** Chemical Free - **Material feature:** Natural, Plant Based - **Product benefits:** Effectively removes plaque and tartar while freshening breath - **Target audience:** Dogs and Cats ## Images ![BUGALUGS Plaque Off Remover for Dog 70g Teeth & Bad Breath 100% Natural | Plaque Off Dogs No Need for Dog Toothbrush or Dog Toothpaste | Remove Dog Bad Breath & Plaque Remover for Dogs & Cats - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71e4mzgTE9L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is mint included as flavouring?** A: No, just seaweed as far as I'm aware. My 14 year old dog eats it in her biscuits with 2 scoops no problem **Q: What is the size of the the scoop one didn’t come with it so I don’t know the measurements** A: The scoop is very small, I found mine had worked its way down through the plaque off inside, so I would recommend if you haven't done so already empty tub onto something then pour back in bit at at a time. The portion size looks to be about 1ml or about 80 grams a portion. Says 2 scoops hope that helps. **Q: Didn’t receive a scoop. Don’t know how big it is. How much am I supposed to use.** A: It normally contains a scoop. A scoop is a quater of a teaspoon. On th box it says how scoop to use according to the pet weight **Q: Does it contain any sugar? My dog is on a strict diet at the moment as she needs to lose 2kg** A: No sugar. 100% seaweed. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Trust the reviews - this product is great! *by H***M on 21 August 2024* I bought this after stumbling across it while looking for a canine toothbrush.
