Great for creating easy cookies
This scoop is so handy for making easy to form cookies in a uniform size. It's a tough tool also. The design is good for many years of use.

Perfect for mashed potatoes
I purchased this for a Thanksgiving banquet and used it to serve mashed potatoes. It was nice to keep the serving sizes. Accurate since we were serving 400 people. The scoop seems to be a good quality and is easy to clean.

EDIT Review Scoop does not swipe, its defective
***UPDATED review:***The seller sent me a new scoop to replace the defective oneand the new scoop does work!So im happy with the new scoop and customer service. The scoop does not fully slide across the scoop bowl so dough will not get ejected. Its defective and need to get a replacement which is appearing to be a hassle from the manufacturer. I should not have bought this brand scoop.

Handle drips dirty dishwasher that gets inside during washing
I cannot recommend this thumb disher. I use it for ground beef when making individual meatloafs. It MUST be sterilized after that type of use. The handle holds water....dirty dish water. Even after sitting for days after washing, there is still water coming out of the handle when I try to use it. That is unacceptable and really gross. I will be purchasing future thumb dishers from a restaurant supply so that I am sure to get a good quality.

Feels Cheap
For $25 it feels pretty cheap. I feel like if you have a thick batter, the lever will break.
