I like all the Bob’s Mill products I’ve used so far. This time I used the dark rye, and got the best rye with caraway seed ever! The recipe called for bread flour and wheat flour, too, so I wasn’t certain it would turn out right, but the rye flavor was perfection. I toasted the bread for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and the flavors were just right together. The loaf was a wonderful texture, although next time I will use a light crust setting instead of medium because once toasted the crust was very crumbly and I really like crust. The package seems quite small, until you realize how little rye flour you use; now I think I better make some gift loaves, and some to freeze so as not to waste any. I’d post a picture, but it’s already all gone!

I have made rye bread forever, it seems. The local grocery store didn't have any dark rye flour in stock, so I ordered this. It was so good! Well packaged, everything intact, I couldn't wait to bake a loaf! Bob's Red Mill has never let me down!!
