Very sugary but taste good
The overall taste is good but it's more like a juice powder than a tea powder. not a very tea like taste but that might just be the raspberry tea flavor. i wish the tea to sugar ratio was balanced a bit more, but overall its refreshing and i can suggest it as an easy drink mix.

If you like sweet raspberry ice tea, this is a good choice.
I happen to like ice tea so will drink it year round, though much more during the warmer weather than when it is cooler. The 4C brand makes good powdered ice tea, perfect for a quick pick me up. I purchase this through the Amazon subscribe and save program, so it comes on an automatic schedule, which is convenient, as I don't have to carry it home from the store myself. I actually get this in a 3 pack, which most often arrives with the 3 cans partially boxed together, then shrink wrapped, which really helps to keep the containers in good condition during shipping, so they rarely arrive dented, which is a plus. Each container comes with a plastic measuring scoop as well - though it usually is sitting at the bottom of each container, so not easily accessible when you first open up a container. As far as taste goes, this ice tea is very sweet, so if you don't like your tea sweet, this likely would not be what you would want. Also if you need to watch your sugar levels, this tea would not be a good choice. The raspberry flavor is good, and the tea looks tea colored, rather than looking like it has been infused with red dye.

Tastes good. Deceptive labeling.
Lipton has discontinued its peach and raspberry iced tea powdered mixes, or least the no-fake-sweetener versions. They were my favorite fruity sweet tea mixes, so I picked up the 4C versions as a replacement. The 4C mixes both taste pretty close to Lipton. When mixed at the nutrition-label-recommended rate they're fine, a little thin, and I would have liked less citric acid, because it's enough to stand out as an off flavor at that nutrition-label-recommended mixing rate. So about that nutrition label. 25 g of powder in 12 ounces of water is 100 calories. Convenient, right? Except the mix chart below the nutrition label suggests two scoops for 32 ounces of water, and double the scoops for double the water, and so on up to a gallon. So that would make it one scoop for 16 ounces of water, right? The scoop is buried in the middle of the canister so you've got to dig it out with a spoon or something, else you won't see it until the mix is halfway gone. I weighed the powder from 1 level scoop, and it's 50 grams. The nutrition label says to use half that for 12 ounces. 50% the mix for 75% the water, all to make it look like it's just 100 calories. My recommendation is to mix at the higher rate. At that ratio, it tastes right: the slight wateriness and citric acid off-flavor disappear. But it's 50% more calories than the label would lead you to believe. Same as a typical can of soda. Flavor: five stars. Deceptive labeling to make it seem lower calorie: one star.
