Our recycled solid oak Guinness branded half whisky barrel planter is made from 200L whisky barrels that have been recycled from some of Scotland's oldest distilleries. Each barrel is fully refurbished then cut in half to make the planters, The world famous Guinness logo is then applied and they are then varnished to ensure they will last for years. These planters are ideal for growing flowers, shrubs or even some vegetables in a traditional family garden or on a small patio. We would recommend that you fill with earth and compost as soon as you can to prevent the wood from drying out and coating with a coat of good quality varnish every year. Handmade in UK Approx dimensions: 45 cm tall x 64 cm at widest point, Due to the nature of these products each planter will differ slightly in size and colour. Due to the ageing process of whisky involving the charing of the inside of the barrels, charcoal may be present on the inside of some of our products. We do our best to remove it but some may remain.
