Good quality product easy to install

Very easy to install outside and a lot easier to pair with the base station

After receiving the first bell box I tried to pair. Instructions were pretty simple and should have taken seconds to pair with the base station. Unfortunately the pairing didn't work. I expected it was the bell box that was at fault so I returned to Amazon for a replacement. A couple of days later I had the replacement and had the exact same pairing issue; battery in the bell box was fine (held the test button for 4 or so seconds to hear the test tone) but it just wouldn't pair. I contacted Simplisafe on a weekend and they initially suggested another replacement; after some discussion I ticket was openend their end for one of their support worked to get back to me in the week. This didn't happen so by Thursday I called them again. The new person I talked to took me through 40 minuites of resets, firmware updates, pairing attempts and test pairing with other devices. Utilmately the nothing fixed the issue with the bell box; they were a little stumped so decided to send out a replacement base station. Lo and behold the new base station paired with the bell box out of the box (no pun intended). So it turns out the base station was at fault even though all my other sensors paired and worked perfectly with my old base station. So in short good product (make sure you adjust the volume once paired as it seems to default to off) but let down by the faff I had to pair to the base station. Also support could be improved slightly.

Extremely easy to install and setup, with a red light blinks occasionally which I was hoping to have for enhancing visual security especially at nite. It seems to be flashing randomly though, It’d have been better if it does flash just a little more frequently. SimpliSafe is a a good easy to setup wireless option for sure and this bell box is a breakthrough for them yet still room for improvement.

This is a great addition to my setup and is essential to ensure that any alarm is heard from outside. The bell box flashes red every so often and is very loud when triggered. Also a tamper alarm if anyone has to try and mess with it.

I have the indoor sirens and this alarm system so loving that they have brough out this bell box. So easy to connect and install.

Do what they are meant to do. Handy being wireless, albeit it limits the distance they can be mounted from the base station as they need wifi signal.
