Great quality brand in paints, this is as well.
Pretty good paint for chrome, aluminum and similar metal finishes. Through an airbrush, it's almost a mirror finish. I like it so much, I might start trying out more paints by them.

This is the chrome you have been looking for.
I tried close to 20 "chrome" paints from Amazon, and this is the only one that comes close to true mirror finish. Your results will obviously depend on how smooth your surface is, but with a proper base this can get a silver finish in which you can almost see your own reflection. It works well both airbrushed (better results with a thick coat, seems to form a film layer that way) and applied with brush.

I was surprised
I tried it not so long ago on some chrome rims that I fixed I first did a spray out on other things but it worked on rims it it looked original and it I should had sanded a little better but it worked

Halloween 2 Scalpel
this if for a anybody who's still has a tots h2 scalpel prop. i had a tots (trick or treat studios) polyurethane foam halloween 2 scalpel prop for awhile and i wanted to repaint it to make look more realistic like literally make it look like a real metal surgical scalpel. to achieve that i needed silver or metallic silver paint. the metallic silver worked but i gave the other silver paints a test and i didn't like it cuz it turns out that any craft paint bottle labeled as "sterling silver", "silver sterling","brushed metal"(brushed silver) ect are all the same shade just lighter or darker by half a inch to one inch. so i started looking for chrome craft paint or just chrome paint in general. at first i didn't think that was a thing cuz i only could find it the form of paint pens, paint markers and spray paint. until i found this one "ak interactive super chrome". the weird thing it was more of a liquid rather then normal paint but that's how it is and u can air or hand brush it. it's suppose to give you a shiny mirror chrome effect. to achieve that first you use their water based black primer & microfiller or acrylic black primer then airbrush it on. then do the same with the super chrome two or three coats max for the actual paint. (to thin the acrylic black primer uses their thinner) to hand paint it do the same thing just mines the airbrush. (don't thin the acrylic but it's your choice) your first chrome coat won't look good it'll take up to three or four coats max. i wasn't going for a "mirror" look i was going for a "actual metal" look. so i did three to three in a half coats max and it worked turned out great for me. if u r going for the mirror look but have no airbrush then you'll need to hand paint (just guessing) but maybe 5-7 coats. here's what i did after hand painting my coats on and here's what it looks like in different lightings. i personally like it and recommend this paint.

Garbage Chrome
You cant touch this chrome paint. And you can not clear coat it. If you plan on handling the object you are painting this will not work for you. Chrome paint is a rabbit hole. I am currently playing with Mirror chrome and Ultralumen chrome (neither are available on Amazon). My goal is to chrome an object and then clear coat it so I can touch it. I'm getting close, but not there yet. Mirror says you can touch it with no clear coat needed. I have had mixed results with the mirror but I am not done experimenting with it yet. I cant get my 2k clear on Ultralumen without wrecking the chrome, but the instructions are intricate and I have not figured it out yet. EZ-chrome looks good, have not tried it yet. All $30 Amazon chrome paints failed me like this AK. The more expensive paint seems like the way to go. A classic case of you get what you pay for I guess.

Mirror paint for airbrushing
As recommended by Barbados Rex, this over gloss black gives a very fine mirror finish on model autos and such. What might you use it on? Let your imagination run wild. Fantastic airbrush paint. Candy colors on top of this becomes stupendous.
