Nope. I'm going to guess 10-15kg. There is no compressor so it's quite light and very quiet. It chills drinks well below room temp, but not icy cold.

Is it still under warranty? If is you should be able to get a repair or replacement surely? But if not see if you can purchase a replacement seal. The manufacturer would be a good first contact. Sorry can't be more help. Good luck and let us all know how you get on.

Where is the temperature control on the back I can’t see anything there, is the one inside the fridge the only one?
