Works well enough, but can be tricky with lids that fit the widest opening.

Ok for most jars but not lids of 8.5cm diameter- the Specially Selected range of jams fro Aldi. Handles open too wide to operate with one hand while holding jar with other. So not 5 stars.

I bought this one for in my car. Recovering from broken arm on top of arthritic hands made it impossible to open a bottle of water. Now when I forget to get help opening a bottle I can do it myself which I prefer to asking people in store I purchase it from.

I have arthritis in both hands and my husband just had bilateral carpal tunnel release surgery. This little tool is the most helpful thing I've ever used to open bottles and jars! the grippies are great and make opening bottle caps and jars a breeze. although my dog thinks its a carrot lol.. would highly recommend this for anyone who doesn't have the grip strength or doesn't want a sore hand from trying to open that which is difficult to open even for those that don't have issues.
