classic chain lock, works, is sturdy
got this at a good price, for my house this is what we needed, an extra level of comfort, sure nothing is undefeatable, but this keeps the cat and parrot from opening door, he's a smart cookie and we have an old style handle lock, not a knob and I don't like knobs, I'd order more if I need in future, fast getting here too

Very sturdy
I purchased this lock so maintenance at my apartment complex could install it on my door bc my 6 yr old tends to roam at night and not know it. Let me tell you that for the cheap price this chain lock is sturdy and durable! I love it and I feel safe and a piece of mind knowing that this chain lock is on my door!

Awesome
I bought this because my 3 year old son figured out how to unlock the front door. I was skeptical about it because some of the reviews said that the screws came out easily if pulled/pushed hard enough. That isn't an issue. We did have to move it over a few times because my son was able to squeeze through the door. Now he can't get out and I am much more at ease. It definitely holds up, my brother in law tried to open the door and didn't realize it was locked. It stayed right where it was supposed to. Very happy with this product.

May not be child proof
Item is good quality. Toddler learned how to open the lock within a few days. So will have to get something else. He’s too smart lol
