A vent mount phone holder that works! - I've been searching for a phone mount for my 2015 Volvo S60 for sometime now. I've never had good luck with vent mount and I did not like them due to the vent being blocked and becoming unusable after installing a mount. I stumbled across this mount when researching options on desertcart. After looking at it and seeing how it mounts with a hook that connects to the vent vanes and then actually tightens and locks, I was intrigued. I figured for the price, I couldnt go wrong either. Was not planning on using the included phone cradle, as I was going to buy a wireless MagSafe compatable mount. Well, the mount did EXACTLY as it showed in the description! It took a couple fitment trials due to trying to find the best location and which vane to use on the vent, but it mounted very solid and firm! I then put the phone cradle on to use in the interim and honestly it works very well. I may just keep it on and use it and use a charging cable. Overall an A+! Very simple, clean, easy to install and seems to hold up well so far. Definately a recommend! Review: Best phone holder I've had - It's a very simple device. Hooks into the air vent and is secured tightly by a quarter turn of a ring. It's really small compared to other phone holders which is great. It also operates very easily. Just put the phone on the little ledge at the bottom and gently press the side panels in. To release, just push a little button in the back. I have a large phone with acaaec with a cover and it fits in fine. And it is remarkably sturdy. My phone doesn't move and has never fallen. One note - I have a Toyota Camry, and as others have written, the hook is too short to connect the device to the center vent, which for some reason has much wider flaps than the vent on the side. So I had to connect it to the vent on the side, between the steering wheel and the driver side door. ## Features - Spring Clip Design & 1s Install: Lamicall car phone mount uses automatic elastic spring clip and metal hook, just insert the hook into the air vent and it will fit automatically. 1s tighten and lock, One-hand operation, no need for repeated adjustments! - Thick Case Friendly & Air Bag Protection: Upgraded 15 mm wide clamp arm provide a wider grip, this phone mount for car vent clip is suitable for thicker cases, wallet cases or battery cases. Air bag layer on side of clamp provide phone scratch-resistant. Wide compatible with iPhone 16/ 15 / Plus / Pro/ Max, iPhone 14 / Pro/ Max, Iphone 13/ Pro / Max, Iphone 12 / Pro/ Max / Mini, Iphone 11, X, XR, SE, 7, 6, Galaxy A51 A51 A31, S21, S20, S10, Note 10 android and more 4-7”. - Stable Triangular Structure & Metal Hook: The self-retracting spring hook will not damage vent due to the hook being too tight, and prevents damage to air vent blades. The triangular structure contacts with the metal hook and the upper and lower louvers. Give you the most stable experience. Note: Hook extension range 11 mm-23 mm. Not suitable for Round Vent. - Exquisite Acrylic Design: Based on combining the surrounding color with the translucency of acrylic, so it blends easily with any interior colour. It's unassuming and stylish even when you don't put your phone down. While using the original color design of the mobile phone, it creates a more elegant atmosphere. - One Hand Place & Pick: This Phone bracket for car supports smooth Place & Pick, Only takes 0.5 seconds to release botton with one finger. 360 rotation clamp gives you the best viewing angle no matter your needs. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BR5LY1X6 | | Additional Features | Adjustable, Big Phone & Thick Case Friendly, Quick Release Button, Scratch Resistant, Shock Resistant | | Best Sellers Rank | #81,031 in Cell Phones & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Cell Phones & Accessories ) #3,754 in Cell Phone Automobile Cradles | | Brand | Lamicall | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Smartphones | | Compatible Phone Models | iPhone 16/ iPhone 15/ 15 Plus/ 15 Pro/15 Pro Max/ iPhone 14 / 14 Plus/ 14 Pro/ 14 Pro Max/ IPhone 13/ 13 Mini/ 13 Pro/ 13 Pro Max/ 12/ 12 Pro/ 12 Pro Max/ 12 Mini/ 11/ 11 Pro/ 11 Pro Max/ Xs/ Xs Max/ Xr/ X/ 8 7 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 20/ A72/ A52 5G/ S21/ S21+/ S21 Ultra 5G/ S20/ S20+/ Note10/ Note10+/ S10/ S10+/ S10e/ S9/ S8, LG Google OnePlus and all smartphones even with thick caseIPhone 13/ 13 Mini/ 13 Pro/ 13 Pro Max iPhone 12/ 12 mini/ 12 pro/ 12 pro max/ SE/ 9/ 11/ 11 Pro/ 11 Pro Max/ XS/ XR/ XS Max/ X/ 8/ 8 Plus/ 7/ 7 Plus/ SE/ 6s / 6 Plus/ 6/ 5s/ 5/ 4s/ 4Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G/ S21+ 5G/ S21 5G/ Note20 Ultra 5G/ Note20 Ultra/ Note20 5G/ Note20/ S20/ S20+/ S20+ 5G/ S20 Ultra/ S20 5G/ S20 Ultra 5G/ Note10/ Note10+/ S10/ S10+/ S10E/ S9/ S9+/ S8/ S8+/ Note 8/ S7/ S7 Edge/ S6/ S6 Edge/ S5/ S4/ A70s/ A20s/ M30s/ M10s/ A90 5G/ A30s/ A50sLG K92 5G/ K62/ Q52/ K52/ K42/ K71/ Stylo 6/ V50S ThinQ 5G/ G8X ThinQ/ Q70/ K30(2019)/ K20(2019)/ K40S/ K50S/ W30 Pro/ W30/ W10/ Stylo 5/ V50 ThinQ 5G/ G8S ThinQ/ G8 ThinQ/ Q60/ K50/ K40/ Q9/ V40 ThinQPixel 5/ 4a 5G/ 4a/ 4 XL/ 4/ 3a XL/ 3a/ 3 XL/ 3/ 2/ 2 XL/ XL/ PixelNexus OnePlus 3 / 2 / X; Can this mount actually support weight of a tire?** A: not sure about a tire, but it definitely will hold up about any phone out there, it does tighten down pretty well and grabs the phone **Q: Large number of reviews talk about the hook failing within a few months. Is this "2023" version supposedly better?** A: Hi. The 2023 new car vent mount version us an upgraded spring metal hook design. 1s fast installation, stable and safe. If there is any problem with this car mount after using it for a period of time, lamicall will be responsible for it to the end. **Q: Will the phone mount lose it's grip over time on vertical vents? Is there a warranty if this happens?** A: I have not had any problems with grip loosening. I don’t know about a warranty. I have found with the phone clipped in that when I hit a bump the phone falls forward. Not out of clip just can’t see screen until adjusted. Otherwise love this product. **Q: Can a iPhone 11 fit?** A: Yes, an iPhone 11 can fit. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FINALLY!! This is the same manufacturer and it's a nice upgrade. It's much sturdier - no falling phone when I hit potholes. I can turn the phone screen without destabilizing the holder. And in the time I've had it, I haven't had to re-install or adjust it. Good buy for a good price. ## Frequently Bought Together - Lamicall Car Phone Holder Vent - Upgraded Spring Loaded Hook [Big Phone Friendly] Air Vent Cell Phone Holders for Your Car Mount Automobile Hands Free Cradle for iPhone 16 15 14 13 Pro Max Smartphone - Lamicall Car Vent Phone Mount - Air Vent Clip Holder, Universal Stand Hands Free Cradle Compatible with Cell Phone 16 15 14 13 12 Mini 11 Pro Xs Max Xr X 8 7 6 6s Plus SE Smartphones Black - Lamicall 2025 Wider Clamp & Metal Hook Car Phone Holder Vent [Thick Cases Friendly] Phone Holders for Your Car Mount Automobile Hands Free Cradle Air Vent for iPhone 16 15 14 13 Pro Max Smartphone --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/506181716-lamicall-car-phone-holder-vent-upgraded-spring-loaded-hook-big](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/506181716-lamicall-car-phone-holder-vent-upgraded-spring-loaded-hook-big) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
