But the Surface's design with the keyboard makes it a terrible device for actual laptop use. I find it unstable. I wish someone would come up with an aftermarket keyboard like Apple's Magic Keyboard for their iPads. It really steadies the device and keyboard. Alas..... Until that happens the Omnpak cover provides the best stable platform for laptop usage of my Surface 9 Pro with the factory keyboard. I can recommend this enough for Surface Pro 9 owners who feel like their computer is hard to use on their lap. For me this case is a game changer. It makes my computer so much easier to use the way I want to use it. The cover seems very protective of my Surface. It works well on a desk or in my lap. It provides a solid base for the keyboard and prevents the keyboard from flopping around when using in on my lap. I have a different style of case that is tacticool, but it does not support the keyboard the way this case does. The case looks pretty good and is very business like. My biggest complaint is that it covers up the cool green Surface Pro 9 that I "Had to have!" It does cover up my beautiful machine. My other favorite case has clear plastic panels surrounded by black tactical looking bumpers. Everyone can still see my great taste in computers! LOL. But this Omnpak cover does support the keyboard while the other one doesn't. I'll take function over beauty any day My only other minor gripe is that the design of this case does not allow you to use those hubs that plug into and stick to the side of your Surface. Nor will it allow usage of a 90 degree USB-C plug. The result is that you're forced to use a USB-C device that sticks out of the side of your computer. It feels like something is going to come aling and break the plug off, rendering the port ot computer useless. This is more of a design flaw of the Surface, not Omnpak. I have found the exact same issue with the other cases I have tried as well. (photos attached) I don't know about the durability of this case. I will update if I have any future problems. I am extremely satisfied with this case.
