I ran this horizontally between T-posts for my pole beans. I added some vertical with twine, but it wasn't necessary. This wire is soft enough to wrap around the posts and then twist around itself with bare hands, making it very easy to work with. I was hoping to find something heavier, like 12 gauge wire, but this worked fine so far. It's very shiny- looks like electric fence wire- and it looks like it should last for quite a few years. Will definitely buy again as needed.

Does what it should. Using it to train my trumpet vine, looks great.

I have deer friends who love my organic, not poisoned plantings. That's the good news, and the bad. I don't mind when they eat many things in the yard that spring back up however there are a few little trees I want to grow up without looking like aliens from a strange land with middles missing. So I got those green metal stakes that have holes in them and little folded up metal parts, and fairly pliable wire for the cages. I tried to attach the wire to the metal poles with normal wire but it was flimsy. I tried another and it was so stiff I couldn't bend it. Then I ordered this wire, and it was just right. It's strong but bends easily and is easy to cut with any old wire cutter. So now my deer are stymied- I think- and my green giant (that they aren't supposed to like but no-one told them) and my cage looks as good as one can look and it is wired securely, the wire doesn't show, and it appears to be stainless steel and doesn't look like it will have rust problems. This will be my go-to wire for all future caging problems. Highly recommended for this sort of project.

In the small courtyard in front of our house, we have a young jasmine bush that we wanted to train to go up the patio cover and intertwine with the slats. We needed wire that will not deteriorate rapidly from the extreme heat in the summer. Glad we found this wire because it was perfect for what we want. After installing a trellis to support the jasmine, we strung several wires that lead up to the patio cover. And we're happy to see that it's working, seeing several tendrils coiling in and around the wire, reaching for the sun.
