FRONTLINE Spot On Flea & Tick Treatment for Medium Dog (10-20kg) 3 Pipettes

Frontline is a excellent product and never fails to rid "Lily" our 14 year old Beagle of the ticks she picks up from time to time. Living in countryside and sheep rearing area it is inevitable that from time to time she picks them up! Anyone who owns or has owned a Beagle will know how much they love all the scents and smells that the long grass and fields provide and whats waiting ready ambush......Ticks! Since application on the 1st of July Lily has been tick free, her next dose is due on the 1st of August, it's easy to apply, there is 3 doses per box, excellent value for money and most importantly it will keep your canine friend/friends free from insidious Ticks. I cannot comment on how it works with fleas as Lily hasn't had fleas but the way it deals with Ticks I would imagine that it works equally effectively against fleas also.

I treated my dog with this after I noticed him being unsettled and scratching himself. He doesn't normally have any issues. I went for years without having to treat him. I was so pleased with this. It is super easy to administer. The instructions are clear and concise. There was no confusion at all. The treatment comes in small pipettes in a blister pack. You snap the end of the pipette and part your dogs fur on the area between his shoulder blades ( the area where your dog cannot lick it off). You then squeeze out the Frontline directly onto the skin. It is best to apply it at night, last thing, just so it has a chance to be absorbed and you and other humans don't inadvertently give him a pat or a stroke in that area. I had good results with this. The Use By date was good. I purchased in August 2020 and the use by is December 2021. Only time will tell how completely effective this is. If I change my mind on this product and have negative feedback I will resubmit this review. However, as it stands now this is a Five Star product.

Normally get Frontline plus but got this by mistake. Not as effective or long lasting on my dogs.

Living in a rural area and having long grass on our daily walks, tick management is a must in our house. This works a treat and is full free to apply. I put it on when I put them to bed and remove their collars before doing so. Seems to manage my dogs immunity no problem

Difficult to review. Always had a great experience with frontline but this time I’m not so sure. Appeared to kill some babies and eggs but the adult fleas continued to thrive, strong as ever and I was dosing them far more often than the recommended dosage! Either fleas are becoming resistant to these treatments or the products aren’t as good as they once were. 2 dogs in 3 months have gone through approximately 18 of these and still fighting an uphill battle. (Yes I’m treating my home, boil washing everything, dusting and hoovering every inch of the place several times a day). Only effective thing I’m finding right now is a flea comb, squish and put in outside bin several times a day.
