Should there be a small cut out in the top left hand side of the door where the hinge is? Is this a fault or is it there to stop the door catching?

There is a small cut out on the bottom of the door near the hinge on my microwave. I don't know if they've changed the model.

25L Flatbed: Once the microwave has started, can the cooking time be adjusted up/down?

I do not actually know but if it proves to be a problem I would stop the cooking, set the timer and start again. I’m a bit lazy and tend to guess times but it seems to work OK for me. I hope you are as pleased with the microwave as I am.
