These LED lights are perfect for a 36" wide shelf. They are the correct light spectrum for grow lights and are very bright and easy to install. Each light comes with chains and hardware for mounting and has a receptacle on the end to allow you to daisy chain the lights together. Connect the first light to a timer and control all lights with the one timer. Very happy with these lights. Hope they last a long time.

For the price, they seem to work just fine. Installed them in my garage and they did a great job lighting it up, dont be fooled by one light, but when they work together they are bright.

Lightweight and easy to install - hung them with the provided chains to the overhead shelves. All hardware included. Bright lights; nice you can tether them together. Much easier and cheaper than trying to buy tubes for older fixtures (ballast/no ballast, size, wattage, etc.). Had 6 old fixtures in the garage - instead of buying a bunch of tubes, this set of 4 was perfect. Really brightened up a two car garage.

The build quality of these lights is definitely on the cheap side of the spectrum. They are all plastic (and pretty thin plastic at that) and they lack any type of hood or casing. However, no complaints at all about performance -- they light up a room with ease. The 6500K light temp also works great for seed starting, which is the primary way I use these. The units can be easily linked together. I also like that each light comes with a chain and S hooks (in addition to wall anchors for a flush mount). The on/off switch on the cord is also a useful feature that is often lacking in these types of LED shop lights. While these will not stand up well to any sort of bumping or hits compared with more expensive units, once they are hung up they are typically out of harm's way. Thus, I won't mark it down for build quality issues. A good value lighting kit that performs well.

Put out a lot of light for their size. Maybe a little flimsy and could use slightly better mounting options. Otherwise they seem to fit the bill well. I used the slip screw mounting, but afraid lights will slip and fall so plan to add some bump stop screws so they can’t shift inside the garage. For the price they are little above decent.

I bought a package of these to replace some old fluorescent hanging fixtures in the shop. I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money either. At first I thought these were really not going to work well, they are very lightweight. I was pleasantly surprised at how well these light up and how easy they were to hang. I was so impressed that I bought another package of them and replaced more old fixtures. If I need any more these are the ones I will buy.

These are minimalist lights, but they do a great job in my shop. The6 can be strung in series providing great light for the paint area. They do not have any guards…just the lights and wiring.
