Antec Advance Accent Lighting 6 LED USB Powered Strip - Blue

I bought two of these to attach to the back of a pair of LCD computer monitors. I wanted to achieve the same kind of cool glow you often see on HDTV's displayed at electronic stores. These LED strips are fully sealed so they cannot be damaged easily.I used the built in USB hubs on my monitor to power these, It should be noted that a low powered USB hub might not provide enough power so a mains powered hub or internal USB port is recommended.The USB cable is quite long at 132cm and the LED strip is a further 35cm. The adhesive backing on the LED strip is quite good but I used additional gorilla tape to secure it because the back of my monitor is slightly curved in places. If you're mounting along a straight surface the adhesive strip should be sufficient.The LED's are a good quality and the perfect level of brightness.I now have the backlight glow I wanted so I'm happy with the product. Recommended.

I HAVE THIS BLUE LED LIGHT STRIP ADHERED TO THE UNDERSIDE OF MY DESKTOP TABLE SO WHEN USING THE KEYBOARD AT NIGHT IT CAN BE ILLUMINATED WITH SOFT BLUE LIGHT. IT LOOKS GREAT , NICE ADDITION TO YOUR PC / DESKTOP.

These are a great set of blue lights, I'm using them above my keyboard as it's a steelseries 7g so it has no lighting and black keys.The only issues I had was I wanted to use the full strip, but it came cracked at one point, but the supplier dealt with that for me within hours in the best possible way. The glue provided doesn't hold for more than an hour or so if they're mounted underneath something, but that is very easy to solve either by tying, or your own glue.The switch is easy to find along the cord, and was one of my main reasons for buying, I didn't want it on all the time, or have to keep pulling it out.Overall a great set.

A lovely item which works plugged into my smart TV and attached to the back of the set giving an ambient glow which for me enhances the viewing experience.

These LEDs give a nice glow to the rear of my desk and I think it looks great.The USB cable is quite long and I've had no issues with reaching a power source. I only wish that there were more LEDs as it would allow a longer glow effect. The adhesive on the back did work well for the first few applications but after buying a new desk it became less strong so I added some double sided tape to it and it works perfectly.Pros:Nice glow, not too overpowering.Fairly long cable.Cons:Not very many LEDs, a few more certainly wouldn't hurt.Adhesive not very strong, the LED strip often fell and had to be held up with double sided tape and sellotape.Not as long or fairly priced as other LED strips available.Overall, I think this LED strip is perfect and isn't too expensive. I would have liked more LEDs but I can always buy more as I go along.I would recommend this product!Update: I have since bought a new LED strip and am now using this elsewhere, there just weren't enough LEDs to satisfy my requirements, or a strong enough adhesive to keep it held up.I bought a 1M LED strip for just 5 pounds, almost half the price of this, and would recommend you do the same too. It's more powerful, longer and the adhesive is also stronger. This was a good product at first, but the adhesive slowly began to degrade and after around a week it had to be reapplied with more tape. I would recommend buying the other strip as it is cheaper, longer and just generally better. A link to the product will be below (providing Amazon don't automatically remove it). super bright LED especially when it's dark.mounted mine inside of my computer running the USB through the water-cooling hole, not that i will use that hole anyway.Looks amazing inside and if you look at it in the dark it is blindingly bright.Feel like the adhesive will wear off though as it does come loose.

Very bright, used it behind my computer to create a sort of lighting effect and it looks great! Where you place the LED strip is important but thats all personal preference. Very good grip with the sticky side of the strip, has not fallen off once.

Gives off a lovely lightly effect!perfect for behind my monitor, great buy.Highly recommend for those dark rainy nights
