I got this for my four year old for Christmas (despite it being aimed at bigger kids). He's usually pretty good understanding controls on things and has taken to this like a duck to water. When you first see it, it looks a bit flimsy, but my son can be quite heavy handed with toys and this seems to be doing well. He's had it a week but so far I am very pleased with it. The ability to charge the main battery is a godsend.

Once charged the digger fired lits of manoeuvres. The controller took a bit of getting used to but it kept the lad busy for a while!!

Very sturdy and easy to use, good value for money, only down side is the battery life isn't long enough. A bit smaller than I expected though.

This is great for the family. I bought this and a couple other mining vehicles to play around with as they all do seperate things of an evening. So now we load dry rice from a shoe box with an excavator into a dumper truck which then drives and dumps the load in a pile for a front loader. The front loader then scoops this up and drops it in a hopper system back to the excavator. (Basmati mining corp) Mostly made from the Amazon boxes it all came in. It keeps the family working together for 20 minutes the batteries last for. A few more functions would be great but probably would make it too difficult to operate for the young ones. The charger takes about 30 mins to 1 hour depending on how flat you run the battery. It would be nice if they offered a spare to buy as RC battery pack and plugs are all different so are not easy to find, but I am looking so if I find them I will try to let you know where!

I liked the sturdiness and quality of this product. It gives hours of fun. I bought it for my grandson and he loves it .

Well made. Excellent toy grandsons loved it

Decent movement but not enough strength, paid extra to ensure it was strong. Took it in sons sandpit and stopped working within 5 mins as sand had jammed mechanisms. Had to strip whole thing down to clean it never been right since. Definitely not the quality I expected for what I paid very lightweight and plastic.

He 2 yo still learning the button functions but loves it! My only complaint is the left joystick (forward/backward) is backwards. You push up and it moves backwards, push down it moves forward? It's a bit pricey. Wish I had waited cos now there's a few out there that cost less!

got this for the 10 year old great grandson and it works great ! since my yard has no place he can use it I dumped some potting soil out for him to move

Christmas gift for my 8 year Old Son. The toy doesn't move at a decent pace and it is really weak. My Son is not able to do much with this toy. If I knew this ahead of time,I would not have wasted my money. My Deaf Son is disappointed.

We watched our grandson open it on skype on Christmas morning. Not sure who liked it more my son in law or grandson. He is three and it is still working a week later so I suspect it is well built.
