Also because of the broad base it takes a fair quantity of water to fill a ‘minimum’ **Q: Hi! does this retro kettle green have the bs uk plug?** A: I’m not sure what a bs plug is but if you mean an ordinary uk plug 3 pronged then yes I’m sorry I can’t be of more help **Q: Is this kettle a proper green as it looks blue/aqua on the pictures** A: Don't buy! This is a dangerous design- the steam burns your hand as the handle goes over the spout. You have to put a minimum of 1.5Ltrs (seriously) in this kettle, just to make a cup of tea & the noise it makes is horrendous!! after only 6 months all the 'chrome" around the bottom is peeling off because steam comes out of the on/off switch at the base.....but it is sage green.... **Q: Can I use this kettle for boiling milk?** A: No, sorry you need a specific milk warmer for that. The Spanish brand Jata make one which should be for sale on Amazon. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ariete 2877/04 Retro Style Cordless Dome Kettle, Removable and Washable Filter, 1.7 Litre Capacity, 360 ° Rotating Base, Visible Water Level, Vintage Design, Green - Ariete 0156/04 Retro Style 4 Slice Toaster with 2 Slice Control, 6 Browning Levels and Removable Crumb Tray, Cool Touch Sides, Non-Slip Feet, Vintage Design, Green --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/51072854-ariete-2877-04-retro-style-cordless-dome-kettle-removable-washable](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/51072854-ariete-2877-04-retro-style-cordless-dome-kettle-removable-washable) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
