Review: Fantastic priced kit to practice with! - I'd never done a jet before and didn't want to spend a huge amount when I'd need to learn the nuances of the build and how to paint it. However, it went together rather nicely, and for the purists will defo need filling and sanding, but for myself, I was happy to just put it all together and have some fun painting. The model turned out great, and for a kit this cheap, that's a lot model fun! Highly recommend! Review: Great kit for the age - First off this version is an old mould from 1982, with raised panel lines etc, but that being said it’s still a good kit for the price if nothing else a good filler for in between more expensive kits. I for one am looking forward to the build. ## Features - Warning:Only for domestic use - Tamiya branded ready-to-assemble plastic precision static model kit. It is supplied unpainted and is ideal for model makers and painters! - Required to complete: cement, paint and finishing supplies. - This plastic model assembly kit recreates the Sea Harrier FRS.1 carrier variant of the British Harrier, the first Vertical/Short Take-Off and Landing (V/STOL) aircraft to see live action. Sea Harrier-specific facets like the nozzle and canopy are of course recreated, while the turbo-fan engine has superlative detail and the engine nozzle moves. Choose open or closed canopy and air brakes. Parts are also included to depict Sidewinder missiles, 1,000lb bombs, 30mm cannon pods, and the kit comes with three marking options. - Ideal for model builders and hobbyists to recreate the classic British Aerospace vertical take-off and landing jet fighter, reconnaissance and attack aircraft. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000WN6T3C | | Age Range Description | adults, teenagers | | Age range (description) | adults, teenagers | | Art Craft Kit Type | ART_CRAFT_KIT | | Best Sellers Rank | 87,495 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) 79 in Aircraft Model Building Kits | | Brand | Tamiya | | Brand Name | Tamiya | | Colour | Navy | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 366 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00891956102630, 04950344996285 | | Included Components | Model Assembly Kit | | Item Dimensions | 29.6 x 15.8 x 7.7 centimetres | | Item Type Name | 61026 HAWKER SEA HARRIER | | Item Weight | 0.01 Ounces | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 29.6 x 15.8 x 7.7 centimetres | | Manufacturer | Tamiya | | Manufacturer Part Number | 61026 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | Sea Harrier FRS1 | | Model Number | TM61026 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Paint Type | Enamel or Acrylic | | Product Style | Classic | | Product Warranty | 30-day right of return | | Scale | 1:48 | | Seasons | All Seasons | | Set Name | Royal Navy Sea Harrier FRS.1 | | Size | 29 cm | | Special Features | Classic style | | Subject Character | Royal Navy Sea Harrier FRS.1 | | Target Audience | unisex | | Theme | Military | | UPC | 089195610263 | | Unit Count | 340.1943 gram | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** adults, teenagers - **Brand:** Tamiya - **Colour:** Navy - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 29.6 x 15.8 x 7.7 centimetres - **Theme:** Military ## Images ![Hawker Sea Harrier FRS1 Model 1:48 Assembly Building Kit - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81jKcPh5mWL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic priced kit to practice with! *by P***R on 8 October 2023* I'd never done a jet before and didn't want to spend a huge amount when I'd need to learn the nuances of the build and how to paint it.
