## Description

desertcart.com: VOLTRX Shaker Bottle, Gallium USB C Rechargeable Electric Protein Shake Mixer, Shaker Cups for Protein Shakes and Meal Replacement Shakes, BPA Free, Made with Tritan, 24oz : Health & Household

Review: Super popular, dang good, suprisingly repairable. - **TLDR:** This is a handy little mixer, not a blender. It replaces those old-school blender bottles with the wire ball, and it does it cheaper. It's great for mixing protein powders or drink mixes quickly and easily. The quality isn't the best, and it might not last long, but it's super easy to clean. If you're making a lot of powder drinks, it's worth it. I'd give it four stars because it could be more durable or repairable. --- Amendment This review was initially done before the postscript addition afterwards. It covers the possible repairability aspect of this product. Even so, I decided to keep my original review the same, and simply make this note, and the one at the end. --- **Product Overview:** This product is a small, battery-powered mixer that you've probably seen all over TikTok or AliExpress. It's got a plastic stirring piece, not sharp or made of steel. It's not a blender, just a mixer. It's designed to replace those blender bottles with the wire ball inside. It's cheaper than those too (Depending on the exact bottle you get), so if you're just looking to mix powders, this is a good choice. **How It Works:** The mixer has a fairly weak electric motor at the base of a plastic cup (Plenty strong to mix protein powders!! Just not a blender!). You fill it with water about three-quarters full, turn it on, and let it create a vortex. Then, you add your protein powder or drink mix. It mixes everything quickly and thoroughly in about 10 seconds. It's super convenient for getting powdery drinks blended without the hassle of using a spoon or shaking a bottle for ages. **Quality and Durability:** While it's a handy tool, the quality isn't top-notch. The battery isn't removable, and the motor is likely pretty cheap. I mena, these cost less than the company that just put a wire ball in a plastic bottle, so, this is too be expected. The USB-C charging port is covered with a rubber insert you take out to charge it, but it will wear down over time. The button feels solid enough, but it's clear that there are quality improvements to be had in the base. It’s not the most durable product, but for its price, it does the job. **Ease of Cleaning:** One of the best things about this mixer is how easy it is to clean. Unlike traditional blender bottles that can be a pain to scrub, you can clean this *like* a blender. Just rinse it out, fill it with water, add a bit of dish soap, and let it blend for 30 seconds. It’s quick and hassle-free. The base also comes off, so you don't have to worry about any crud living at the bottom of the cup in hard to reach places. **Overall Thoughts:** This mixer is a solid choice for anyone who frequently makes powder drinks. It's not going to last forever, but it's convenient and easy to use. If a version with a removable or replaceable battery existed, I'd give it five stars. As it stands, it's a four-star product because it could be more durable. If you need something more powerful, like for blending fruits, you'll want a real blender. But for simple mixing tasks, this does the trick. **TLDR:** The Vortex Blender Bottle has a hidden 18650 battery in its base that's surprisingly easy to access and potentially replace, despite the company not selling replacements. This makes it more repairable than expected, earning it a five-star review. --- PostScript review --- **Battery Access and Replacement:** While writing my review for the Vortex Blender Bottle, I discovered something pretty cool about its battery. Initially, I thought the battery wasn't replaceable, but I decided to check out the base of the blender. It turns out, the rubber feet on the bottom are actually removable, and not just sticky ones you can't put back. You can easily take them out and put them back in. Underneath those feet, there are four screws that are super easy to remove. Once I unscrewed them, I found an 18650 battery inside the base. If you're familiar with 18650 batteries, you'll know they're one of the most common rechargeable lithium-ion batteries out there. They're used in a lot of things, including the original Teslas and even some new ones. Most electric vehicles (EVs) use them, at least until new battery tech comes around. So, if you're comfortable with how these batteries work and how to replace them, you could swap it out. Just remember, not all 18650 batteries are interchangeable, so you need to know what you're doing. Even though the company doesn't sell a replacement battery, getting into the cup is so easy that I'd say it's replaceable, at least by someone who knows what they're doing. You could even take it to a repair shop for help. **Final Thoughts:** Finding out that the battery is accessible and potentially replaceable really changes things for me. I thought the battery was the weakest point of the blender, but now that I know it can be replaced, I'm giving the Vortex Blender Bottle a five-star review. It's a great product, especially with this newfound somewhat unofficial repairability.
Review: Perfectly blends everything - I’ve been really impressed with this electric shaker bottle. The biggest difference compared to a traditional shaker is how smoothly it mixes everything. I’ve used it with protein powder and meal replacement mixes, and it blends the powder really well without leaving a bunch of clumps floating around or stuck to the bottom. The mixer gets everything circulating quickly, so I don’t have to shake the bottle aggressively or spend time trying to break up stubborn chunks. The result is a much smoother shake, which makes a noticeable difference when you use protein powder regularly. The 24oz size is also perfect for my needs. It gives me plenty of room for powder, liquid, and ice if I want it, without being unnecessarily large. The bottle feels sturdy and the Tritan material is nice because it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. I also really like that it’s USB rechargeable. I can charge it up and use it without worrying about batteries, and the electric mixing feature makes preparing a shake much quicker and easier. Overall, this has been a great upgrade from a standard shaker bottle. If you drink protein shakes or meal replacements regularly and want something that actually mixes the powder thoroughly and consistently, this is definitely worth considering.

Holy crapola, this thing is amazing. It’s super quiet, and mixes VERY evenly with no clumps in two cycles. The lid is great, staying out of your way when you swing it open. Cleaning is super easy because it breaks apart into 3 pieces. Holds a good amount and I can pack a protein shake and head out the door. Buy it!
