Great product to make light fixtures flush on siding
I had three outdoor sconce/lanterns mounted on wood 5” siding. They always hung at an angle and didn’t look secure or flush. These are great as I mounted thus plate to the siding then the fixture to the plate. Now they are all flush and look right

Makes a nice looking installation with octagon shape.
Fit perfect on my older aluminum siding.Kinda shallow for fitting all wiring inside,had to wrap things around a bit inside but it worked.

Worked out great! It fits perfectly and came with mounting hardware and wire grommet and caps. The included wood screws were too long for my application but that's no big deal.
