had anyone used this for orange peel effect

This cover is designed to be used with a thicker coating specifically made for textured effects. For a heavier orange peel effect, with regular paint, we would recommend a knitted cover with a thicker nap.

Can I get texture on the wall with this epoxy coater roller?

Yes the R233 - 9" will leave a texture on your wall as long as the product you are using is stiff enough and made to apply a texture onto walls.
