We bought these to replace a worn out set that was purchased many years ago. We use them all year in huge jobs and they are the best. Spray with WD40 before and after using to keep them rust free and they wont let you down. The effortlessly snip through fairly thick branches. Like all loppers, they are designed for new cutting and not old stored branches. Light in weight and cutting clean is their strength. If the orange handles come loose, just pop them back on with a shot of superglue. We have 3 sets in use currently and despite trying, nothing matches the performance.

Solid, well made, great cutting edge and will lop quite thick branches easily.

I bought these Fiskars loppers in December. They have hardly been used until this month when I was lopping some thin holly branches. The blade snapped. No undue pressure was used. I would like to repair or replace them but the returns for faulty items just takes you around in circles. I am very disappointed as I bought these relatively expensive ones as Fiskars have a reputation for longevity and good engineering. How do I get a refund or how can I communicate with Amazon their returns for anything over 30days since delivery ?

This is my second pair. The previous pair gave me about ten years of very hard service, until a cog broke on a hard, dry branch. I probably asked too much of them. The new pair work brilliantly and I’m looking forward to another ten years or more of hard work.

Bought a second set of these as I could not get the spare bits that fit my model. Very good quality, previous ones lasted well with serious punishment (me cutting material that was far too big for them).

I ordered these after yet another bypass pair had twisted on a cut and weren't working as well, getting back to an anvil cut, blade onto a flat plate is a joy and much better. The are extremely light weight and easy to carry. The mechanism seems to help apply the force evenly and cutting is effortless. I had considered a ratchet too but reviews seemed to be frustrated that you have to pull 3-4 times before they engage with smaller branches so went for the simpler design. One to watch out for is to get the wider branches you need to open the arms fully which is close to 150 deg so you need space to get the head in and have arm space to start with. So far after a couple of goes on a tree and hedge i think they are great and good value for money
