Great Game for All Ages!
I'm an avid plant lover, and I received this game as a Christmas gift. I absolutely love to play it with my family of all different ages. At first, it looked a little childish, but once my family and I played, it actually turned out to be such a great game. The instructions were really user-friendly and fun to follow. The boards are well made, and the little plastic and wood pieces are pretty durable. (We have dropped them a few times). It comes with a score card pad too that is aptly themed as well as little bags for all of the little pieces. The box is an average size for a board game and fits all the components of the game in it even after taking it out of the manufacturers packaging. When playing, a fair amount of space is best which will depend on how many people are playing. We find that the dining room table edge is typically sufficient for 2-3 people. Depending on the level of conversation and the number of people, the game takes approximately 30-45 minutes with setup and take down. The artwork included is beautiful too. All of the plant cards are well designed as well as all of the boards. The plants are also very inclusive so you may be able to find some of the houseplants you already own (if you own any :)). They are primarily houseplants though.

Really fun game, especially for plant lovers
I have been waiting to play this game for a while. I was a little worried it might be a little contrived, but it absolutely lives up to my best expectations. I love the little game pieces, which I think are much better than they need to be at this price point, which is great added value. The game is fun to play and it's pretty quick. You build your garden and tend to it in 4 rounds. It does have some strategy, but nothing too difficult. Great artwork, sturdy boards, lovely pieces!

An absolute favorite!
Great for our plant-loving family of a range of ages! The young ones (ages 7 and 9) picked this game up the first go around (they likened it to Sushi Go meets Wingspan). The cards are interesting to plant lovers - I find myself owning most of the plants and pining for the few I don't have. But the game also appeals to those who don't love plants and just enjoy a good game. The tokens (sun, water, plant food, etc) are well made and a delight to pick up and play on your board. Each game feels new depending on the plants you get and the tools or resources you acquire. I love that you can play with different strategies for winning but you don't quite know who has the most points until the end. I also like that you can play a game in 30-40 minutes if you don't have a ton of time or if attention spans are short. My only qualm is that they have accounted for the fact that you might run out of tokens (sun, water, plant food etc), so you have an area where 1 token can represent 4 tokens...why not just make enough tokens so that you don't run out? Seems like a cheap move. But overall this is certainly a favorite in our home and a favorite to gift to other families!

Fun and Unique Game for Plant Lovers and Non-Plant Lovers Alike
Such a fun game! If you have played Wingspan and liked it you will definitely enjoy this game as well. There is a learning curve, but looking up some play tutorials can really simplify it. Have only played it with 2 players but would be better with 3 - 4 players due to some of the game rules. Love the game pieces that come with it!

7 wonders...but better?
Plants. Plants galore! This game is SO MUCH FUN.you're goal is to be the best "plant mother/father" you can be and show the rest of the table that they're stupid little baby plants got nothing on you.You ACTUALLY care for your plants and in turn. they care for you. With Points!Dont get too cocky though, this is a strategy game through and through. With each passing play of the game you start to wonder "do I have TOO many plants" whilst an angle and devil sit on your shoulder. The angle cautiously warns you that youre doing good where youre at now.The devil screams with a megaphone "More....MORE!" and in the end you grab another plant. What could it hurt? Its incredibly easy to learn. The game is one of the most beautiful games i have played. From the artwork down to the resource pieces. I was hooked just by unboxing it.We got it christmas and we have played it 14 times already. It plays a lot like 7 WONDERS. But does it in the most efficient way possible. Gameplay you're looking at 30-40 for the FIRST GAME but once you know that drops to 15-20minYou'll want to get this game

My favorite board game
I love this game as a plant lover and a board game nerd, I LOVE the cute pieces that are tangible and holdable, some of my friends said they are unessesary but if you have a hard time with remembering points or scoring they really help, it's a fun game the first few rounds are kinda figuring how to play the the strategy comes out stealing recorces people might need before they need it picking plants based on the recorces the only game rule modification we have made for more fun is to reset the plant nursery for More opportunities to see different plants.
