Will this product work on clothing not designed to be outerwear/waterproof?** A: Nothing will make either of those waterproof **Q: Does this work on walking boots/ shoes?** A: I use a shoe proofer spray-as I don't wash walking shoes. Also nothing in its features that indicate you could use it for shoes/ boots **Q: How much do i use for garment size like the Freezestyle Ski Jacket?** A: According to the instructions you should use 2 measures per garment. However I did this with only one jacket per wash and it wasn't water proof so I repeated the process with 3 measures and tumble dried, and ironed (on appropriate settings plus the coats laundry label said to tumble dry and iron). One of my coats is great and worked well however another I washed following the same process and it is not as good. You have to decide if it is worth doing. Hope this helps **Q: Is this heat activated?** A: The instructions say follow garment care directions.wash 30-40degree wash & rinse cycle then tumble dry -for best proofing- can also dry in airing cupboard or ironing. So it does sound as though heat is needed for best results. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great stuff *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 November 2025* Always use this to wash any jackets or coats that are waterproof or showerproof - it works so well. Makes showerproof jackets more waterproof - smells of nothing but really easy to use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ good price *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 7 March 2026* good value and great for my grandson as he has skin allergies ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well but is a tad expensive *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 25 July 2026* Use this a lot for my husban'ds golf gear. Works well but is a bit expensive. Washes waterproof clothing well and it comes up fresh smelling. I would say its a bit expensive - I would prefer to buy a bigger bottle but I haven't found it available. I seem to be always buying it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Mountain Warehouse Wash N Proof 300ml - JAN & JUL Waterproof Fleece Lined Snow and Rain Pants for Toddlers and Kids --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/51224029-mountain-warehouse-2-in-1-wash-n-proof-300ml-2](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/51224029-mountain-warehouse-2-in-1-wash-n-proof-300ml-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
