This was my best option if i didn't want to buy a new sub. It integrated perfectly with the main receiver. Once i hooked it up, i used the knobs to set everything where I needed I was able to use the receiver to control the volume which was a concern when I bought it. So you don't have to control the volume separately for the sub. It has plenty of power to push the 12" sub. I'm surprised how well this pushes my sub. Plenty of sound. The size is perfect.
