You do this by taking a foot and a half of carpet seam tape and running the iron slowly down it. Watch videos to get the rest of the technique and timing down. Great price, pretty decent quality.

Perfect tool for a Diyer. Worked great, no problems. Just make sure you load the tool up with glue before first use.
