A high-quality Greek olive oil. When buying olive oil, I always make sure to choose cold-pressed and check customer reviews before purchasing. I highly recommend this product, which offers health benefits and benefits for the body. I buy this product all the time. The 5-liter bottle allows me to use it for a long time. The fact that it comes in a can rather than a plastic bottle makes me prefer it. But best of all, because it's cold-pressed and has a perfectly balanced acidity, I can use it in both salads and cooking. It tastes wonderful. When you order it, it's shipped from Greece. Very light scent.

I had become fed up of buying second rate olive oil in small bottles from supermarkets and so decided to buy a large container from Amazon to see if it was any better. This arrived slightly dented, the packaging could be improved, but it didn't cause any problem when it came to opening and decanting the olive oil. I must say, the flavor is a huge step up from what I'd been buying previously, with a delicious toasty edge to it. Its fantastic for salad dressings and pasta dishes, and its one of those oils which you just want to dip a piece of focaccia in and devour. For me and my family removing butter/veg oil/margarine from our diet has been life-changing. Now we use extra virgin olive oil (evoo) instead in all our cooking. Foods made with evoo taste the same - except for one difference – they are less greasy. We make toast, fried eggs, salads, soup, parathas, and curries etc with evoo. We even deep fry fish & chips and samosas in it and they taste amazing! I can truly say the chips are the best I have ever eaten. Please for the sake of your health start using good quality evoo. I take a tablespoon full every morning with a squeeze of lemon. Evoo is expensive, but your well-being is priceless.

Just purchased this olive oil for the first time and I'm gutted to see that it is now currently unavailable until further notice. I do hope that Amazon will reintroduce soon. The delivery was speedy. It's a great price and good quality, confirmed by the peppery taste at the back of the throat.I take olive twice a day and for the extra health benefits I add a quarter of a teaspoon of turmeric with two good pinches of black pepper and consume after my breakfast of porridge and my evening meal. I also take it in salad dressings and drizzle it on vegetables. I don't want to tempt fate but I am truly grateful to the universe that I have no aching joints and am in a positive state of health. I feel so much younger than my chronological years and I would say to everyone, take care of your health, it is the most priceless possession we have, without good health we are limited as to what we can do. Product is bang on, unfortunately the package is damaged, and the tin will not stand up as its so badly crumpled. This is not the sellers fault, it the rubbish Amazon delivery service, they are absolutely terrible

Excellent fresh, green, slightly spicy flavour, not at all heavy. A very pleasant light oil. Perfect for everything including dipping and salads. I use my olive oil to make bread and for all my cooking needs. This is perfect as the flavour is not overpowering. Very happy with my purchase. I decanted into old glass bottles (oil should always be stored in dark glass or tin) the spout pulls up, which makes this much easier, some may not be aware of this after reading previous reviews. As others have mentioned the container was a little bashed. Some protection against this would be useful, but it will force costs up and you’d probably end up with much the same effect knowing our couriers. A better courier could also minimise this, but again would force costs up.

Bought this as my regular olive oil was ok but wanted to try something else. I bought a 3L tin to try and am not disappointed. It is exactly as everyone else describes - mild/mellow but a slight tickle/peppery after taste but not strong enough that it can't be used in pretty much any dish.

I used to buy Iliada EVOO through Amazon and thought it the best I had ever experienced. During lockdown, Iliada first disappeared from the market and then reappeared but at extortionate prices. Having decided to give Elea Creta a try, I ordered a 5 litre tin, anticipating that, like Iliada before it, the tin would arrive somewhat damaged. Nope, the tin arrived without any dents at all. I tasted the oil and was surprised to find I enjoy it far more than expected and so take 15mls a day for health reasons. I use it for dressing my salads, baking bread, cooking stir fries and pastas. It is extremely good in all respects. I am mightily impressed with this Elea Creta EVOO and will certainly buy it again. In fact, in my view this oil is superior to my old favourite. It has all the characteristics I want and in spades. If you are looking for a superior quality olive oil for everyday use, it is definitely worth giving it a try. I reckon you could well become a newbie fan like me!
