But remember: Too much of anything is a bad thing. This supplement is NOT supposed to be taken every day for the rest of your life. It’s meant to be used for shorter durations and then should stop being taken after a while. So far ive used it for about 14 days and my partner has been gushing about my taste. But I’ve since stopped and decided on the following rotation: take 1 pill a day, Mon-Fri every OTHER week. Stop after 6 months then start again after 6-12 months has passed. This is an arbitrary schedule I’ve come up with to limit consumption of the extract (to not overdo it) so my body doesn’t get to used to it and so it doesn’t have any detrimental effect. I ordered these bromelain tablets and the directions say to take 3–4 daily, but they don’t specify whether to swallow or chew them. Since they’re round and powdery like a Tums, I assumed they were chewable big mistake. The texture is extremely chalky and unpleasant, even though there isn’t much flavor. I also didn’t like that Amazon placed a sticker over the directions on the back of the bottle, which made it harder to read the instructions clearly. The product might work fine, but the texture and unclear labeling were disappointing.
