Minky Washing Up Bowl with Sink Plug, 11L Multipurpose Basin, UK Made

I bought this bowl with a a built in stand and a plug thinking that it would cut down the amount of staining in the sink from left-over tea and coffee being emptied into it during washing-up. I have to say that it has worked really well. Removing the plug allows the water to rinse away under the bowl, instead of trapping it there to cause unsightly stains, and the legs raise the bowl just enough to allow this to happen. Of course, you still get a bit of staining, but it is so much less now. I'm really pleased. Also, compared with other brands, the price is very reasonable, and the bowl is good and strong. Highly recommended.

It’S.A. lovely colour, matches my kitchen cupboards nicely. It seems quite sturdy and it’s a good size but I would have liked it to be deeper. I think one with handles also would have been a better choice for me personally as it’s quite difficult to lift when full of water.It was a good price and overall I’m pleased with it.

I really like this, it's such a simple idea to have its own in built plug. I used to make a mess lifting a heavy bowl out the sink. This is so simple you simply turn the plug and let all the water drain out. I have given 4 stars as it's not the largest bowl and I think they missed a trick by not installing some form of mesh/guaze to filter any waste before it gets into your drains. Overall though in terms of sturdiness, thickness and general build quality I would buy again.

So pleased with this basin. It fits perfectly, holds water properly and drains perfectly. Saves me lifting a heavy basin to empty and it catches the debris too!

Good size and quality, love the plug in the middle very convenient, I thought buying a white one it would easily be stained, not at all, cleans very well.

Perfect, practical, well made and a very fair price, I bought a second one for the utility and would most certainly recommend.I have had the Joseph Joseph one too but in my opinion this is definitely a better bowl as it is much easier to clean and doesn’t leak at the plug.

It doesn't do exactly what I want but it's perfectly adequate. If it were slightly concave rather than flat it might drain properly, taking all the detritus towards the plug. As it is I still have to wipe the bottom to clear the particles of food etc. Overall it's a mild improvement on a simple bowl but nothing I could enthusiastically recommend.
