How do I know if these baskets will fit in my cube space?

Do these baskets have an odor?

They do have an earthy wicker smell on arrival, but the smell gradually dissipates after a few days of usage. To eliminate the smell quickly, it it recommended to put them in open space at first; or wipe gently with a damp cloth then leave to dry.

How do they stay open when unfolded?

The bottom panel holds the corners in place and prevents the baskets from collapsing.
