EKO Aroma Touchless Automatic Soap Dispenser for Kitchen and Bathroom, Liquid Hand Soap Dispenser, Rechargeable, 9 fl oz (Stainless)

I recently purchased this automatic soap dispenser and it has completely upgraded my hand-washing experience. I'm giving it a full 5 stars because it excels in every area. First off, the touchless operation is fantastic. It's incredibly responsive, dispensing the perfect amount of soap the moment you place your hand under the sensor. This is not only super convenient when your hands are messy from cooking, but it's also far more hygienic than a traditional pump dispenser. No more touching a pump that everyone else has touched! The design is modern and sleek, and it looks great on my kitchen counter. It doesn't take up much space and blends in perfectly with my other appliances. Refilling it is a breeze, and I was pleasantly surprised by how long the batteries last. I've been using it for over a month now with no signs of them running out. It's a small change, but it makes a huge difference in daily convenience and cleanliness. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to make their home a little more modern and hygienic. It’s a fantastic product that works exactly as advertised!

The dispenser is a practical mix of piano black and decent looking stainless. Sensitivity is good and the power button has a good tactile feel to it. Soap dispenses in an adequate amount. The dispenser seems well constructed but is difficult to fill since the fill hole is tiny and creates a vacuum preventing soap from flowing into the dispenser. Dispenser size is small. The most important thing is that it is not prone to false positive dispensing when bombarded with IR from other things in the bathroom. From testing it is using an 840nm IR sensor but the field of view is narrow and short. This means that owners of a Toto bidet with a remote control will not set off this dispenser unless their bathroom is extremely reflective. That's right, you can have hands-free soap and a Washlet in the same bathroom without having to tear apart cheap electronics and solder in a 940nm sensor.

Had previously ordered this item and had no issues. This one was a replacement. Unfortunately, the unit shipped was defective. It appearred to be a repurposed return as it had soap on the outside. After cleaning it up, I put it on the charger. After charging, I filled and checked the dispensing, but it did not work. Put it back on the charger for several hours, but same result. Ended up just throwing the unit into the garbage. Not worth the trouble to repack and return. Note to vendor and fulfillment party, need to check units before sending them out. Repurposing returned items may appear to be a good cost-saving measure, but can be detrimental to your brand and more costly as I will not order again or recommend.

I bought this to replace a SimpleHuman soap dispenser. At this price point it was worth trying compared to the very expensive SimpleHuman ones which always die within two years for me. The EKO isn’t quite as elegant as the SimpleHuman in form but works just as well. One small thing I miss is being able to adjust the quantity it dispenses by your hand distance to the sensor, whereas with the EKO you set the amount using the main button. Hoping this lasts more than two years. Will update this review!

Nice soap dispenser that blends in well with my faucet. Had to deduct one star because it is difficult for me to see how much soap is left in the container. I filled it when I received it and haven't added any more soap since then and have not had to charge it. I like the small amount it dispenses so I am not wasting soap. Useful that it doesn't dispense soap except when moving my hand or the sponge up to it. I sits flush with the edge of the sink so I don't want it to dispense soap on just anything that comes near it.

Update 6.27: I haven't needed to charge the battery yet which is rather surprising! The shine on the stainless also keep well. Very happy! Original: I gotta give it a solid 5-star rating for how well it works. One of the best things is how fast it dispenses soap. What's good also is that it has a base that won't slip, so no worries about it sliding around and making a mess. You can adjust it to give you more or less soap, depending on what you need. Refilling is a breezy too. The lid pops right up when you touch it, and there's this clear window that shows you when it's time to refill. Overall, the soap pump is very good. It's fast, doesn't slip, lets you choose how much soap you want, easy to refill, and you don't gotta worry about batteries. If you're looking for a high quality soap dispenser that's hassle-free and does the job right, this is the one. I'll update it again after I use it more to see what's the durability, but so far so good!

I generally don't write reviews until I've used an item for an extended period of time. I have had three of these for nearly two years and am very happy with the product. The battery life is phenomenal, and it is very easy to recharge with the USB cable. They hold a good amount of liquid hand soap and are easy to refill. It is nice that you can adjust the amount dispensed as well.

It worked good for the first few months and now, even when fully charged it doesn’t dispense properly, only a tiny drip comes out regardless of how many times you wave your hand under. I tried different liquid soaps and same result. Very unfortunate!
