This product represents a good idea poorly executed. The battery failed on several occasions, though fully charged, to start a car battery that was easily started with a jump from another car. While we were trying to attach it to the battery for one more try, the powerful spring sprang out of the plastic terminal on the jump starter. Luckily it did not harm anyone, because of the direction it flew into, as it was a fairly powerful force. This product should be redesigned for safety and effectiveness.

This battery back up/charger/car starter is amazing!! So compact and it works! Our son had his WINUS AC Charger in his van and behold, the inside rear lights were left on overnight. DEAD battery in the morning with an important appointment to attend. With skepticism-I took out the charger, connected the clamps to the car battery and within less than a minute- WA LA-we had the van started. This would be a GREAT gift for ALL your family, and especially, teenage/young adult drivers, who could help themselves if they forget to turn the lights off in their car and/or help other stranded drivers. There is a USB port for laptops and other devices. You can charge it up in your home easily. It is inexpensive-less than $60, compared to a service call or tow call...and the agony of waiting, missing or being late for work an important appointment. And SAFETY!!

I bought this one for someone else who saw mine work to start their car when they had a dead battery. Mine was in my trunk and had not been recharged for at least a year, maybe more. It was still fully charge, and started the car in an instant. They had the battery checked in the car, and it had two dead cells. They replaced it and asked me to get them one from Amazon, since they did not have a computer. I highly recommend this.

I have several older vehicles with slow battery discharge problems. They are all full size 8 cylinder vehicles, a Chevy Silverado 2500, Lincoln Mark VIII, and a BMW 530i. This Jump Starter worked so good I bought one for each vehicle, and bought another for my mother-in-law, and my son. I plan to charge each the 1st of each month, but so far they charged in full in about five minutes, and didn't appear to discharge hardly at all really from the previous month. So, I have 5 of these and no problems.

This great item has gotten my husband out of trouble many times! He tends to leave the key in the ignition at the "on" position, running down the battery, and this starts it up immediately. We bought one for each vehicle! I don't know how we lived without them.

Very fast and safe way to jump a car. You can boost yourself, if your car won't start. You don't have to wait for a boost or look for jumper cables. You won't risk damage to your alternator or electrical system to boost someone either. You can also boost your phone. It fits in your purse . If you are taking lots of video's or pictures and your phone's battery will fail, just plug it in while you are filming or charge anything that can use a USB. We jumped a neighbor at Church. He had a full size car and everyone was saying that that wouldn't work. They we all amazed when it started right up.It's a life saver and it stays charged 3 months!

Awesome performance to recharge iPad & iPhone , own four total family. No problems with electronic devise charging. Will not crank over large size engines with dead batteries. But that's not why I own four of these babies. Love'm for what I use them for.
