Does it kill the mouse?

No, the spray doesn't kill the mice; it keeps them from coming out after you spray - mice hate the scent of peppermint. The more you spray, the longer the mice will not come out. When the scent starts getting faint, the mice come back out and you have to spray again. The spray runs out fast, so you have to keep buying it. When you spray, the scent may last about 2 - 3 days before you have to spray again. I normally have to spray in my kitchen on the counter, stove & behind the microwave. Make sure you buy the spray for mice because some of the sprays are for insects, etc.

Will this work for ants also

There's a different formula from Mighty Mint called "Mighty Mint Insect & Pest Control.. This formula works against most insects including spiders, ants, centipedes, beetles, etc.

What is the difference between mice repellant and rodent repellant sprays?
