Very satisfactory design all-round
Fatip Grande is a very nice razor, easy to use and easy to clean and always a very satisfactory shave. Whereas the Fatip Piccolo shaves a spot closer, it also requires more care in using its short handle not to nick oneself. The Grande series is a successful design, in my opinion.

Perfect fit and finish ....
Before buying this product I read a few reviews which questioned the blade alignment and overall finish. The one got is perfect. As good as anything I've had from Germany or the UK for that matter. How long the black finish will last, time will tell. So far I'm very pleased. The new Fatip Grande have the 2nd generation open comb, which means the performance of the razor is nowhere near as aggressive as the 1st generation comb or the Muehle R41, but it still gives a nice clean, irrigation free shave in 3 passes. Unlike the R41 I've never cut my self with this razor, so I grade the aggressiveness just above the Edwin Jagger DE89s, a nice step up into open comb shaving. I've used a few different blades and found that Astra SPs or Voskhod work well, not tried Feather.
