Mo Bacter Moss Treatment 10 Kilogram

I spread the product by hand which did take some time as I have a large lawn. As there was no rain forecast, I watered the lawn afterwards, 3 times. My lawn was very badly affected by moss. Gradually, over a period of a couple of weeks, the moss started to turn brown. Grass is now growing where the moss was and the rest of the grass is looking great. Don't expect a speedy result. It takes time.

I bought this product from Longacres quite some time ,and I can vouch for it,s effectiveness ,did the job properly,no disruptive effects, a raucous Jack Russel found it ideal for misbehaving,but seriously a damn good product ,but crikey guys that,s a helluva price, too expensive for me to re-order

Arrived quick and easy to use. Still awaiting results but hopeful as it saves scarifying.

About to use this , let's hope it does what it says , I am plagued with moss as we were originally a moor. I scarify , rake , go round with a lawn aerator and brush in sharp sand , feed at the right times , cut the grass and pick up any cuttings I don't need to water , it's Scotland. 4 seasons in the one day, ha ha, Gone off using moss killers as I feel it might kill worms and microbes beneficial to the soil. So today Saturday, will spread it using a wheeled applicator to get an even spread. Thanks

Really works. I use this all the time. No clearing up to do either.

If like me you are buying this primary for killing or controlling moss, it’s not the best I have used. I have used it three times on a very large are and it’s not cheap, I would say for the summer months the lawn looks better and the moss is less evident and the grass looks healthier, but it’s not killing weeds and the moss will gradually start to come back. I used it this autumn hoping to keep the moss at bay over the winter and this time it have very little effect, for nearly 500 quid I am feeling a little peeved. ( this is dosing to around 150 grams per square meter ) I really like the idea of it being safe for pets and not having to rake but I am going to be looking for other options come spring growing season. Photo on the left are after the first treatment last on is the second treatment, starting to look better but the moss is still there, I think you would have to be treating ever 100 days.

Very easy to order and a very good product

Amazing!! Takes a little longer to work than I expected but the moss has died and left bare patches of earth where it’s been broken down. Really really impressed. Now to reseed the bare patches!
