I love this product! I had purchased the Rose pressed powder, loved it so much wanted to try this. The site gives VERY clear instructions that the parts of this compact are sold separately. They arrived around the same time, putting them together was No big deal.Very pretty. Case is beautiful, durable plastic but you 'would' think its metal. THANK GOODNESS it is NOT! It would be far too heavy in my purse. Also would make a cute birthday gift for a young teen.Love it!! Great work Anna Sui product designers.

I was very careful in reading the reviews for the compact mirror that it's only a screw top and that you had to buy a mini face powder 200 refill.So I did.And there's no way for the top to screw on to the bottom so I have a top with nothing to attach to and loose, open powder ready to spill everywhere.What does this compact lid screw on to? How do I buy it?

It seems like the 1 star review doesn’t understand it’s only the puff and case (no bottom because that’s when you choose the powder) when you order it without the powder. it would be wasteful to give a empty bottom plastic cover. It is authentic anna sui case I recommend if you understand you get part of a container because that’s how customization works.

I thought this would be a worthwhile treat because it makes me feel as if I were a Society lady during the age of elegance. I am of mature years, and very feminine, though I rarely have occasions to be very dressed up. I not only want to pretend I'm back at my aunts' dressing tables 60 years ago, but want to pack the compact in my bag so i can powder my nose and refresh my lipstick before a formal tea or Mardi Gras party.it is of an exquisite design.However, I ordered what appeared to be a 'mini refill,' which actually is only a powder puff! There is no powder provided, nor the bottom of the case. This should be listed with the items as a set. I looked up the bottom with which it is compatible, and it is $40!

This is a gorgeous compact. But it is plastic, not metal. Also, you have to buy the powder separately.

The description says "compact only refill sold separately". What it does NOT say is that by "compact only" they actually mean "only the compact lid". Wack. I was hoping to add some other Anna Sui powder I have to a thinner, cuter case but nope

Picture a toilet seat with a really fancy lid. That's what you're getting, but as a miniature. Displeased that the person before me who also left a one star rating didn't bother to warn us about why.Don't get this if you don't plan on shelling out $40 for the bottom half that screws on.
