This one was very easy to program and works on time . If you go on vacation for a week or two make sure you put a fresh battery in because it won't turn on when battery is low. The display is very easy to read and bright enough to see. To adjust the watering days or how long to water is very easy to do. Good value for your money! Review: Work great! - I bought two a couple years ago. They work great. Getting familiar with the programming takes a bit of patience, but it does it all. Contrary to some reviewers, it DOES permit watering different zones on different days and with different durations/settings. Fully customizable watering or changing specific settings for what's needed. I change out the 9v battery every spring. I did have a temporary issue with one of the buttons - sits out in the weather all year long. But somehow worked out the issue and it operates fine now. Recommend for anyone with a little patience and a need for some dependable automation. Starting year three and going strong. ## Features - [Easy to Program & Setup] With 3.4" large easy to read LCD screen, details of all functions and working statuses are displayed intuitively, 5 program buttons make your settings easy as adjusting a digital watch, easy to select the days, start time, duration and frequency of your watering schedule, this watering timer can work throughout the summer once set up and programmed - [Upgraded Leakproof Design] Pure zinc integrated tap connector is durable and can prevent water leakage during use, it supports standard 3/4 outdoor water faucet; ABS plastic shell is sunscreen and waterproof for outdoor use; the water timer for garden hose won't reduce your water pressure and can withstand water pressure of up to 120 psi - [12 Programs for 3 Independent Zones] 3 zones( A, B and C) can be controlled independently on the same day, each zone has up to 4 watering cycles per day, this water-efficient sprinkler timer can meet your watering needs with different hoses throughout the day, ideal for sprinkler, watering or drip irrigation systems for lawn, garden, yard, potted plants, vegetable, etc. - [Multiple Functions] ECO Mode allows connected devices to be on/off for a specific duration and repeat intermittently in your scheduled period, achieving deep plant watering with less consumption; Rain Delay Mode to avoid over-watering plants/flowers during rain and save water; Manual Mode is designed for temporary urgent needs without interrupting the preset auto programs - [Hassle free on Vacation] Powered by 2 1.5V AA batteries (not included), the low battery indicator warning helps to replace battery in time, once forget to replace it when you are away on holiday, the hose timer for watering will keep OFF to avoid overwatering to save your garden and conserve water; when power is back on, just reset the current time, the previous watering schedules are still kept ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B6ZF69W8 | | Best Sellers Rank | #251,974 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #285 in Watering Timers | | Brand | DEWENWILS | | Brand Name | DEWENWILS | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 258 Reviews | | Item Highlight | 120Psi Pressure, Independent Control, Leakproof Design, Sprinkler Timer for Lawn, Garden, Yard Irrigation, Potted Flowers | | Item Type Name | Hose Timer | | Item Weight | 506 g | | Manufacturer | Dewenwils | | Manufacturer Part Number | HDWT03 | | Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene , Plastic | | Material Type | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, Plastic | | Model Number | HDWT03A | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of settings | 4 | | Screen Size | 3.4 inches | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** DEWENWILS - **Color:** Black - **Item Weight:** 506 g - **Material:** Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, Plastic - **Number of settings:** 4 ## Images ![DEWENWILS Water Timer 3 Zone with Automatic/Rain Delay/Manual Mode - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71s+0kn2W9L.jpg) ![DEWENWILS Water Timer 3 Zone with Automatic/Rain Delay/Manual Mode - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/814ZJRFTC4L.jpg) ![DEWENWILS Water Timer 3 Zone with Automatic/Rain Delay/Manual Mode - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91wIlQOVceL.jpg) ![DEWENWILS Water Timer 3 Zone with Automatic/Rain Delay/Manual Mode - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81QTtUuBV+L.jpg) ![DEWENWILS Water Timer 3 Zone with Automatic/Rain Delay/Manual Mode - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81WpwIZWnrL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Has anyone else noticed a huge decrease in water pressure when using this? My sprinkler works fine without this but much slower when run through this** A: Yes, the water pressure is reduced to something less that a 1/4 the original pressure. My wave sprinkler hardly runs with only 12" of water coming out but without the timer valve it shoots up to 6 ft high. I think this a bad design. **Q: Can this schedual multiple waterings in one day, 7 days a week? Would like it to water 3 times a day every day for 5 minutes.** A: You can select up to 4 Start Times for watering in a given day, The number of minutes to water in each start time can be set for 1 to 240. The ECO is only for up to 19 minutes of on/off watering during a given watering period. It might be useful to keep water from running down a hill. I am using the timer to start grass seed in a lawn by watering 3 times a day every day for 5 minutes. **Q: Timer is ok. The first time it is operating well in eco mod, but next cycles is not opening a valve even tough I see the drops on screen. Pressure?** A: I have had a lot of trouble setting the timer to work the cycles I want. Instructions are not clear or complete enough. **Q: How do i program a but keep b manual? i want a port to turn on based on the schedule, but use b port for manual watering.** A: I have port A and B both setup for Auto but you can setup A for Manual and B for Auto. On the one you don't want to Auto water, you set the "Timer" to 0 minutes. Make sure you select auto at the bottom of the screen then go up to the Port A or B at top of the screen using the arrow keypad. In my case, I want A to go off on Saturday at 8am so it's set as A port, 45 minutes. I go to port B and make sure the timer says 0 minutes. Once you have the port you want to be automated, you are done and can go back down to the manual function and hit OK button when that's highlighted to bring that set up. You can then arrow key up to A and B port for the manual set. You can choose whichever port you have a hose on that you want to use manually and change the minutes to however minutes you want to use it. If you want to use B for auto then make sure B has 0 minutes under manual. Make sure A has however minutes you usually use for manual watering. Then once you set the minutes go back down to manual function and hit ok to turn the water on. After you are done with manual watering, just change the function at the bottom back to Auto and hit ok and your auto port will go off at scheduled time. Hope this helps. This one is a little confusing. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works perfectly! *by Q***G on May 20, 2024* I have had other timers that were harder to program and quit working 6 months later. At the close to 2yr mark, this is still running fine, but is starting to show signs of wear (fading, buttons are less responsive (but still functional)) Fingers crossed it still has a few years of life in it. Ease of Use/Assembly/Install: **** (4 star) It is fairly straight forward to setup and program. Usefulness/Appearance/Fun Factor: **** (4 star) Works as intended. Notice sometimes there is some water dripping from one of the ports, but post timer, so might just be from sprinkler connector? Does not allow for watering every other day and no calendar, so have to manually change program per watering season. Battery life is about 9-10months before requiring change. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/517186507-dewenwils-water-timer-3-zone-with-automatic-rain-delay-manual](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/517186507-dewenwils-water-timer-3-zone-with-automatic-rain-delay-manual) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
