You can choose which type you need . . The ridgid or the flexible. The flexible are the type that you punch into the frame and they bend to hold the backing board in place. You can then change the picture. The ridgid I think are more of a permanent thing. It is a very good product and does the job well.Hope this helps. **Q: What type of clips do you use with this gun.** A: T4F Flexible Tabs or T4R Rigid Tabs. (Depends on density of wood). No more fumbling around with those little pins for me! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for a Grumpy Grand-dad *by D***N on 31 January 2014* I've struggled quietly for years with changing the contents of factory-produced picture frames; either bending the flexible retaining tabs (and cursing the resulting sore bits on my fingers) or practising my dental extraction skills with a pair of pliers to get the rigid tabs out before exploding with rage when trying to get the darn things back in again. The whole thing had turned me into a very VERY grumpy grand-dad indeed. Blasted kids! Why did they need their own picture frame, anyway? And why couldn't they stick with needing just the one picture, instead of growing up all the time? But then a heavy parcel from UK Framing Supplies turned up after I had ordered it via the Big A --- with almost unseemly speed.
