Excellent for clearing scale in hard water area

I've used this descaling product for decades. It's easy to use and lasts for a very long time. Shower heads, kettle, around the basins where the taps join by using a small syringe, anything at all. Safety boxed up. Arrived on time.

Much more powerful than domestic cleaners - useful for limescale shower glass. Brings sanitary ware chrome up to a sparkle.

There’s a technical knowledge base behind this product. I called the company to ask is this safe for descaling a steel boiler with a working pressure of 120psi? Answer was Yes. I’m not going to compromise the integrity and safety of a fire tube boiler and the before and after condition of the tubes shows significant improvement.

Excellent got some stubborn limescale off the rim and bowl of the toilet without much elbow grease.

This stuff does work but if the tank is old and has never been cleaned the amount of limescale could easily overwhelm just 2kg of cleaner. The picture is after I used the full 2kg. There is a clean ring at the bottom of the cylinder wall but the thick layer on the base hasn't cleared. I've no doubt that with another few packs it would clean all the limescale but that then starts to get expensive. And time consuming too. It took best part of 6 hours to heat the water, dissolve the cleaner then flush out the tank until the water ran clear. I've decided to replace the tank next year instead of cleaning it out any further. It won't be cheaper but it will be much quicker for me to remove the old tank and plumb in a new one.
