Beginner Seeing Guide
I haven't used the book a lot yet but it appears to cover all subjects of importance relating to sewing. It is not brand specific so is handy for whatever machine you own. Lots of tips and tricks to master sewing. In addition to several free patterns.

GREAT BOOK
I sewed a lot in the 60's & 70's. Then I moved on to other things and stopped sewing. But now it is a whole new world with sewing. You no longer use just one type of needle, thread, presser foot, 4 types of material. I had to learn to sew all over again. I could not have figured it out on my own. They even have new names for some stuff and it was hard enough trying to figure out what she was talking about. This book is a wonder. If you're new to the sewing world or just trying to catch up like me, this is the book for you

Great review and upgrade of my sewing knowledge.
I like the illustrations and easy to read instructions. I hope to get back into seeing.

Great explanations but not much other than presser feet
I really liked that this is pretty comprehensive on presser feet and that was super helpful for myself and my 11 year old daughter who is learning to sew... but there was little OTHER substance beyond that. It should be called Presser Feet magic ;)

The information I have been looking for š
I have a new sewing machine and now I have instructions (besides the very brief instructions in the manual) on how to use the accessories. Iām a visual learner and the pictures make all the difference in the world to me.

Happy Feet!!
I'm honestly stunned that this book exists!! It's exactly what I needed to go along with the accessory feet I purchased to go along with my new sewing machine. My original plan was to Google each of the 32 feet and print out the info about it š. I guess I was going to keep it in a folder, dorky I know, and wa-la... I found this book! I purchased it hoping it would save me the effort and it absolutely did!! It DOES!! It's great!! It contains much more info than just pressed feet info too!! Although I have not read it cover to cover (yet) I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. I would recommend the book AND the purchase of specialty pressure feet!!

easy reference
This book was exactly what I needed as a handy tool for using my machine as I attempt to get more acquainted with sewing, knowing and easily accessing the tools of my machine to begin and complete quality projects with no confusion. If knowing what foot to use, how and when confuses you, this is the book for you. This is also a good book for helping a young person learn about sewing. I will be teaching my granddaughter as soon as I'm a pro, which should not be too long.

Best for the beginner
I enjoyed reading this book, and did learn some very valuable things for future sewing projects, but since I have been sewing for 40 years, most of the book was repetitious for me. I think the most important thing I did learn from this book is how a machine actually functions, and how to use the machine correctly when you thread it. The foot explanations was useful too. Overall, I enjoyed the book.
