I primarily use these chlorine tablets during the winter months when my pool water temperature drops too low for my salt cell to generate chlorine.Once the water gets cold, my salt system stops producing chlorine, so I switch to using these tablets to maintain sanitation through the winter.I typically place one or two tablets in the skimmer basket and allow them to dissolve slowly. These are the best compared to clorox tabs. DO NOT BUY THE CHEAPER OPTIONS. I strayed once this year and my pool paid the price.These also go on sale at costco $100 a bucket- keep an eye out! Highly recommend. Haven’t added liquid chlorine in weeks- my levels are perfect!

I purchased these 3" Chlorine tablets to go in our floating Chlorinator to keep our above ground pool safe all Summer long. We test daily and our numbers remained within the acceptable range with no issues. Each tablet is individually wrapped and are stored in an easy to open plastic container. Like most Chlorine tablets, there is a pretty strong oder when removing the tablets from the package and there are small dust particles left behind so care must be taken to not inhale these small particles. These tables are for pool or spa use only and must be used with proper containers: you cannot place a bare tablet in your pool. These are very easy to remove from the package and place in our container. Our pool has zero Algae accumulation and acceptable levels on every test so we are very pleased with the results and would purchased this brand again.
