It does magnify as advertised. I do not have a way to guage 2x 3x etc, but have found nothing I have that it wont show details for. As previouus reviews have said it is heavy, but I bought it for short term use to view hard to read details , not for long term reading. Good product for the cost. The lighting is adequate.

As I ascended in my years in this Beautiful Country of America my eyes began to fail me reading the small print. Even though I wear reading glasses (4) with the magnification and lighting on the magnifying screen this really helps me to read the small print !

Bought for elder to help read his Bible. It is cheap. Construction is marginal. Yet it works for day one!

This magnifying glass is a little top heavy so it's a little awkward but once you get used to the feel it's unbelievably magnificent I like the lighting mechanism on it as well sometimes I use it as a flashlight. I actually carry this with me in my purse so I could use it all the time I think it's time I purchase a couple more to keep around the house

I don't like this unit at all, even at about $10. It's very heavy for its size, and the smooth plastic with no 'grippy' texture will make it easy to drop, especially as the heavy glass makes it unbalanced weight-wise. Second, the image is very distorted until you are basically laying it flat against what you're trying to enlarge, and only the very middle is not distorted in any case. To be fair, it is only $10, and I can wrap a couple of wide rubber bands around the handle to make it easier to hold onto, but only for those times when I need to look at one little thing (like a serial number) for a short time, as it will be miserable to hold for any time, given the lack of weight balance. I should also say that I'm used to more rectangular magnifiers in which less of the area shown by the glass was so distorted.

Bigger than you might expect, but I like it. It's nice and bright, magnifies well, and takes regular batteries. It serves my purposes well and is a good value. Definitely for the drawer and not your pocket.

Love this handheld magnifier.... great for reading super small print. Having a light available to turn on while in use is helpful, too. The item is a little heavy, so not for long-term use; may be difficult if hand is fragile/weak.

This is a great robust magnify glass. It has a built in ring to help in darker areas. Overall this is a brilliant value strong well made bit of kit perfect for any toolbox

Un peu lourde, mais on voit clairement à travers, je n'ai vu aucune distorsion de lentille. Les lumières del fonctionnent bien aussi. Parfait pour inspecter des plantes d'intérieur !

La lente di ingrandimento è di buonissima fattura il colore arancione aiuta moltissimo nella ricerca dell'oggetto in caso venga perso pesante e di buona sostanza l'articolo e la buonissima leggibilita e illuminazione completano tutto. Articolo ben riuscito!

Wow, is the LED light bright! I like to do crosswords and see about 20% out of left eye, all blurry, and nothing out of right eye. It sucks, but this magnifying glass does not. It exceeds my expectations. 10/10 recommend.
